Jay's POV

Watching Y/n with Ayla was adorable.

I really like Y/n, Ayla likes Y/n and all of my roommates like her too. She just got out of a relationship 3 months ago and she has a baby... you can't mess around with her! You haven't even dated since Sarah! I thought to myself.

(Sarah is Ayla's mom who died a year and a half ago)

"Jay, Jay you zoned out what's up?" Amari asked as he shook me back to reality.

"Nothing, I'm good. We should go to the water with the girls" I said and stood up, walking off.

Cooper's POV

"Mari I don't know about you but he's acting weird, weird like he was with Sarah when they first got together" I said and Amari looked at me.

"You know we don't talk about her, especially around Ayla but yes I agree he's acting weird" he responded.

"Sorry- let's go down here with them" I said and walked away to the rest of the group, Amari following.

I decided to let it alone and continued walking. I went to Abby and gasped excitedly

"Baby, you know what I realized?" I asked as I got in the water with my fiancé Abby.

"What's that?" She asked me as she turned to face me.

I put a hand on her swollen belly and rubbed a circle. "You look like you popped overnight" I said and she smiled.

"Well I did turn 15 weeks yesterday and the baby is the size of a mango now" she replied and I sat down, pulling her into my lap.

"I can't wait to have our baby, and get married and have many many more babies with my wifey" I said and hid my face in the crook of her neck.

She giggled and I felt a splash on us.

"Hey love birds! It's family time here get up and play shark with us!" Camrynn yelled and Abby stood up and helped me up.

We played around and let Patrick and Ayla be sharks a few times and then we had to be sharks.

Y/n's POV

It's been a few hours in the water and Ayla was getting tired.

"I'll be back in a minute, I'm gonna go lay LaLa down for a nap" Jay said as he picked her up and sat her on his hip.

"Coming with" I said and ran after him.

We walked up to the house and I sat on the counter as he put her in the bed. In a few minutes he was out to the main room and shutting the door.

"Come here" I said and reached my arms out. He walked towards me but didn't hug me.

"Did they tell you?" He asked and I bit my lip nervously as I nodded.

He looked down and his face turned a bright shade of pink. "I didn't- I haven't dated since Ayla's mom and you just got out of a relationship and I didn't want you to find out this soon" he said.

"Hey, it is okay I promise you. It's okay that I know but your right, it's been 3 months and I'm not-" I cut myself off.

Jay looked up and his eyes met mine. "Your not over him, I know... which is why I didn't want you to know" he said quietly.

I slid off the counter and wrapped my arms around his shoulders, his around my torso.

"I'm sorry" a voice whispered and we pulled away, looking to the voice.
