Chapter 37

Alex's POV

It's officially Christmas and this is my first Christmas that I can have fun and know that they will join in.

At the orphanage, we rarely celebrated Christmas. If we did without the permission of the lady we would get in trouble. It was sad really.

But it's 6AM on Christmas morning and I wanna wake everyone up. Jake and Tara went to see Tara's family

I slide out of bed and brush my hair out. I go to my bathroom and brush my teeth, wash my face, and do whatever else I need to.

Still in my pajamas from last night, I creep downstairs to wake Elton up first. Some of Sam and Corey and my family is awake.

I keep a finger on my mouth to hush them as I walk to the door of the garage. Elton doesn't sleep late so I wouldn't be surprised if he was already awake but let's just try.

I should film this for the vlog. I think to myself so I run back towards the movie room before my brother catches my attention.

"Alex!" He whisper yells and I turned to him slowly. "What are you doing?" He asked and I motioned towards the room.

"Im waking them up and want to film it" I said and he rolled his eyes playfully. "You YouTubers and your cameras" he laughed and I ignored him.

I ran around the room in search of a camera but realized it was on the shelf at the door.

I walk back to the garage and turn on the camera so it's filming.

I slowly crack the door open to see no Elton on the couch. Shit! He must be up.

I open the door some more so I can go inside and I bump into someone or something.

"Now, what are you doing?" He asked and I looked up, full face of terror.

"And your recording? Were you trying to wake me up?" He asked and I nodded slowing, pointing the camera to his face.

His face slowly grew into a wide smile and I knew what was to come. "No, Elton no no no!" I shrieked and tried to get away but he got me.

"Not so fast bud" he said as he grabbed my arm and leaned down to throw me over this shoulder. I could see Andrea, her arms crossed and she was giggling at her boyfriend who was being an ass.

I flipped her off playfully and hit Elton's back. "Eltonnn" I whined and he gave a strong grip on the backs of my knees.

Circa walked up to me, on Elton's back and she licked my face. I laughed at her but shut up when Elton started talking.

"That's uncle Elton to you, and I'm not putting you down till everyone is awake so have fun up there" he corrected with a chuckle.

"Well see, I was going to wake everyone up and you were first but now look at what's going on" I explained to him.

"K well, we can go wake them up together then" he said and he finally put me down.

"Want me to film or...?" He trailed off. "Some of them you can and others I can" I said.

"Or I can film you guys" Andrea popped in, I turned my head towards her voice and she was smiling at us.

"Great! I wanna do Aaron first" I agreed and told Elton. ( Aaron and Alex are besties cause when the couples hang or go out, they get bored and hang out together) I handed the camera to Andrea and Elton reached into a cupboard for two pans.

"Elton..." Andrea trailed off at him. I put my face in my hands and shook my head, "you can't do that to him" I said.

"Yes I can and I will, unless you wanna jump on him" he suggested and I nodded my head vigorously causing them both to laugh.
