Chapter 86

Wes's POV

Seeing Y/n ball her eyes out was pretty hard. I wanted to cry with her and tell her it would be okay, but I knew it wouldn't.

They took Colby from the lobby and said they would bring Y/n back as soon as she calmed down but it was hard for me to believe she would.

"Y/n hun, you've got to calm down. They need to talk to you alright?" I said and she slowly quieted down.

A woman soon, walked Y/n back and she stared at me the whole time she walked.

I was scared to death and kept thinking so many things that could go wrong.

I was drug out of my thoughts by Corey.

"Wes, the request you back there since she asked" he said and I got up, following another woman to a room where I saw both, Y/n and Colby.

Colby's eyes rolled as I sat next to Y/n and placed a hand on her knee.

"Ms. Y/l/n, did mr. Brock physically hurt you?" The lady asked and Y/n looked at me and Colby before responding.

"Yes ma'am" she said quietly.

Colby nodded, basically letting her know she's okay and she's doing good.

"How did this assault occur?" She asked Y/n.

There was clear hesitation about it but she spoke either way. "Last Wednesday night we had an argument that got out of hand and he put his hands on me, causing me to leave the house with our two children and stay at my sisters house with her boyfriend and our friends" she said and looked at me at the end.

"So this statement mr. Brock said was true?" She asked and handed Y/n a paper with printed writing. I'm guessing it was put onto paper was he had said.

"Yes ma'am" she replied as she looked up from it.

"Okay great, mr. Brock here with be charged with an account of assault paying $400, 2 weeks of jail time and having a restraining order to you and your household including your kids so, he explained he picked up your daughter today... are there other people who live with him?" She asked.

"Yes" Y/n responded. "Okay so someone else besides him will have to bring your daughter back home with you. You guys are free to go" she said.

We got up and I took one last glance at Colby and walked away.

They printed the restrictions and gave them to me, then we left.

As soon as we got in the car, Y/n leaned on me and cried, I pulled her across me so she laid on my lap.

"Shh I got you" I said and kissed her forehead.

I played with her hair as she slowly calmed down on the drive back until she fell asleep.

"What's in it for Colby?" Elton asked me through the mirror.

"Uh so he has a $400 charge to pay for assault, 2 weeks of jail time and a restraining order that he can't come near any of us from the household and he can't see Maddie so can someone call Sam to drop her off?" I asked and Corey pulled out his phone.

"Oh tell him to bring Finn too" Elton said and I scrunched my brows.

"The dog?" I asked and he nodded, "Y/n wanted him over here and Colby was gonna bring him at some point anyway" he said.

"Oh okay" I responded.

The rest of the drive was pretty quiet except for Corey talking to Sam over the phone about what's going on.
