Chapter 14

Y/n's POV

The car ride home was silent mainly but boy was I glad to be out of the hospital.

Ive always hated them since I was a kid, I would throw tantrums at my mom and dad when they tried to take me to doctors appointments, dentist appointments and even being taken to the ER for childhood injuries.

They were just never my thing, it was scary to me as a kid. But my fear has overcame I just don't like having to stay for a while.

It was currently Friday and the weekend was practically here, we had a hectic week. I start to wonder if they will make me come into work if the pain doesn't die down on my side.
Not sure, I'll have to call in.

Im deep in my thoughts when I feeling shifting from the car. I look out the window and see that we are in front of the house.

"Ready?" Colby asked and I braced myself with a nod that he returned.

I was worried that I would see something in here again, that it would take someone else and we'd have to go rescue them.

I tried to forget about the thoughts as we walked in the door. There everyone was, Corey, Devyn, Aaron and Elton.

Jake and Tara, Reggie, Kevin, Jay and Aryia. Jc, Cassie and Kian were there as well. They all welcomed me home and we exchanged hugs, Colby warning each one if them about my stitches.

The pain had increased when I woke up this morning, but that's day two of your entire left side being sliced open. I had 22 stitches for an 8 inch cut.

It was pretty scary. My thoughts were interrupted when Devyn and Tara came up next to me. Joining me on the bar stools, "You okay? You were zoning out" Tara asked.

"Yeah, just... lots happened here" I said with a small tight smile directly. "Mhm, I'm sorry this all happened" Devyn said motioning towards my side with a nod.

"Im kinda tired, I'm gonna go find Colby" I said awkwardly. I wasn't tired but I just felt uncomfortable in there.

I walked into the living room where I saw Colby and everyone else sitting around.

"There she is" Kevin said extending the 'is'. He waltzed up, wrapped his arm around my shoulders and hugged me.

"Hi" I squeaked. Colby was watching us the whole time and I could still see pain in his eyes.

"Come here, stop being a bum" I said pulling him up and burying myself in his warm chest. "Everyone is here and happy, loosen up" I said sliding my hands up his muscular arms.

He gave a small chuckle. "Whatcha need love?" He asked and I looked up at him.

"Can we go to our spot? I don't want to be in here right now" (Our spot is the hill, where he asked me to move in with them) I replied and he smiled down at me.

"Of course we can, hey were heading out for a few!" He called out to the rest of the house as we walked towards the door.

I was glad he didn't ask any questions on the way there, I wasn't in the mood to answer.

He just put the radio on softly and held my hand all the way there.

Colby brought me so much comfort and peace when I needed it the most. It was something I could never get used to, but it made us both happy.

After a while, we pulled up next to the familiar tree that marks out spot. We carved our initials in there a few weeks ago.

He got out and opened my door for me. He also helped me out, knowing because my left side was the closest to the door and I couldn't move a whole lot.

"Oh shit, I'm sorry" I said as I seen the little bit of blood that got onto his seat. "What is it?" He asked and then he saw it.

"Oh its okay, that'll be an easy fix. Are you okay?" He said. I couldn't see the bandage that was covering my stitches so I wouldn't know.

"It must've bled through" I said and turned so he could see. He nodded with a concerned face. "Are you sure your okay? I don't think it's supposed to do that" He said.

Him being concerned about me was cute. Although he never wanted to believe me when I said I was okay or that I would be okay.

"Colby, honey. Im okay I promise and you know I wouldn't lie to you. Ever" I said grabbing his face. I gave him a kiss on the forehead and we stood there for a minute.

"Good thing we have extra gauze in my purse" I said with a goofy smile and he laughed with a nod.

He helped clean my injury and reapply the gauze for me. To be honest, I wasn't sure why it was bleeding but I was gonna try not to worry.

We were only 2 weeks away from our Brush Mountain State Penitentiary trip so I hope I heal up quick enough for it.

We laid out a blanket on the patch of grass near the tree, our tree... our spot. We decided to film on Colby's phone for his channel about what's been going on lately with us.

We didn't bring the camera so we said the phone would be usable.

"Helloooo welcome back, Im Colby Brock and this is Y/n. For those of you who have been watching this channel and know who Y/n is, we want to shortly explain why we didn't post the other day" He explained to the phone camera.

"Yes so, weird things have been going on at the house and we thought since you guys are our family... that we should tell you guys" I said with a nod.

"We are gonna keep it short for reasons of privacy but here we go!" I finished.

"So basically you guys know how Sam and I do paranormal shit and after Queen Mary... everyone knew we weren't lying so I hope you guys believe this because what Im about to tell you is no joke" He started.

"On Wednesday night, it was a normal night for all of us. We had a movie night and all of us, me, Y/n, Corey, Devyn, Sam, Kat, Elton, Aaron, Jake and Tara all fell asleep in the living room that night"

"Y/n woke up in the middle of the night, I wasn't there with them at the moment?" He said and looked to me to explain from now.

"Yeah so I started to look for Colby and couldn't find him so I thought to look in the kitchen because, Colby is Colby he's probably in the snacks if no where else" I said and we both giggled.

"Were trying not to make this so deep in feelings because this has really effected us" He said and I nodded.

"I went to turn around to the kitchen and I seen a shadow. The complete figure of the shadow man, y'all may think I'm lying and that's okay. We all know what happened" I continued.

"I woke everyone up and we found Colby in the bathroom doorway from the kitchen, he was laying there unconscious"

"We figured everything out and this may seem crazy but we had to enter a trance of the shadow man to get Colby back"

I knew people wouldn't believe me so I tried to give as much detail as I could without making it seem fucked up.

"While we were in there getting Colby, I fell behind and something slashed an 8 inch cut across me" I said, turning to my side so the phone could see the gauze.

"Basically after that, I blacked out and woke up in a hospital with 22 stitches and Colby was back. Lots happened to us all that we are kinda traumatized by. Also I think Sam and Kat, and the rest of the roommates are doing a story time so go check that out" I finished.

"But yeah, its terrifying and we all believe in more than we did on Wednesday. Y/n just got out of the hospital but we will keep you updated so thank you for watching. Stay tuned for the trip in a few weeks and we will see you next time. Peace!" We both yelled at the end after Colby explained.
