Not My Hybrids- BTS

Chapter.1

[Floor 2: small classroom, kitchen and dining area, small library, hangout area. (areas only to be used by hybrids no staff unless serving meal times)
Floor 3: Staff room, storage, medical rooms, staff kitchen]

"Excuse me, I'm here to volunteer? I have an appointment with Mr.Bang PD-Nim"
Y/n mumbled out nervously to the secretary, unable to stop herself from admiring the women. She was stunning with long pin straight ginger hair and a black pantsuit and wedged shoes. Feeling slightly self conscious she picked at the strings to her jean sweat pant styled bottoms. Her white long sleeve, tucked in seemed bland in comparison to this secretary now.

Giving the girl a smile, the secretary asked her to wait a moment and disappeared behind a door, having only a few seconds go by before she came back with an older gentleman who gestured Y/n to follow to where the hybrids were kept.

Following him, and watching carefully as he stopped infront of the area keeping the Bunnies and began to speak. "It's nice to meet you finally Y/n."

Nodding and returning the sentiment I glanced to the glass that separated the hybrids from potential adopters, brows furrowed a little as my eyes caught the eyes of a bunny in the back corner alone.
It seemed that he caught my gaze, as PD-nim began to explain a bit.

"That's Jungkook." I nodded, not taking my eyes off of the black bunny. "Why is he alone? Everyone else looks to be playing..." I gestured to the others who almost looked as if they were smiling.
He sighed, leaving my question unanswered as he walked away. Catching me off guard as I rushed to follow him, still unsure of where everything was around here and why he ignored my curiosity.

We landed at the fox area where I had a sense of deja vu. Just like Jungkook, there was a lone red fox in the corner watching the others. When he realized I was staring at him, he matched my eyes and slowly trotted up infront of the glass. He tilted his head to the side in question his eyes briefly flickering the man beside me- Who I only now recognized as the owner of this center.
I tilted my head the opposite way to him, which he mimicked causing a small smile to form on my lips. His eyes danced with emotions I couldn't determine.

"That's Jimin... a tricky one.." PD-Nim said knowingly as if there was a hidden joke in his words as he let out a small chuckle. " why is he alone too?" Again I wasn't offered an explanation.

Simply ignored as he walked away, me only being able to trail behind him, waving bye to the fox who looked uninterested and dark compared to a second ago, confusing me slightly.

Next I was infront of the cat area, where no time was wasted as PD-Nim pointed out three hybrids who were resting together. A Lynx, panther, and a tiger.
"In order- that's Jin, Yoongi, and Taehyung." I slowly moved beside the glass to try to get a better look at the three but stumbled back when the panther, who he'd named as Yoongi, growled and pounced at the glass. PD-Nim only rolled his eyes with a groan while Jin, the Lynx stood infront of Yoongi, seeming to calm him down slightly.

"Sorry about him, he isn't as scary as he seems- I promise." I chuckled, releasing the nerves that had built up in the past few seconds. "It's alright. I imagine he's nicer than he seems..." I said still unconvinced deep inside.
  I took a breath in, calming my heartbeat while I sent them a smile and small wave. Taehyung stood up and went towards the glass, his eyes baring straight through to my soul. With knowing eyes as if judging me he stopped briefly and it almost seemed as if his eyes lit up with a smile towards me.

  Making a wide grin spread across my face I sent him finger hearts as PD-Nim laughed in the background before leading me away to the dog area.

Immediately a Wolf caught my eye as he was pacing around, a coyote watching and looking almost worried. His eyes never moving from the Wolf and his tail slowly wavering back and forth lowly to the ground, ears pinned to his head in distress.
"Is he alright?" I received a nod. "The Wolf pacing there is Namjoon, and the coyote beside him is Hoseok."

My eyes refused to leave either , but I began to grow nervous when both walked directly in front of me, Namjoon never stopping his pacing back and forth.
   His eyes following me the entire time set the hairs on the back of my neck standing straight up.

  "Am I .. making him upset?" I questioned. Knowing from previous hybrid friends that often times predator hybrids who were in adoption centers like this had faced some type of abuse and one point in their life. It was rare to meet a hybrid who hadn't been abused some way these days.

I took a step back looking at my feet and soon was silently led towards an office, while PD-Nim asked me to wait for a few minutes before he wanted to talk to me about why I was here.
Probably a standard volunteer interview, right?
