"Are you dating anyone?" Yoongi questioned, causing Y/n to stutter out an answer, confused and taken off guard at the same time.
"Uh- n-no. Why is that i-important?" He rolled his eyes.
"God relax- cause if you did we would need to know. If we caught an unknown scent in a new place we're supposed to be staying at we'd all be on edge"
I nodded, understanding the dilemma and calming my heart beat down.

Could hybrids hear heartbeats? I can't remember...

"No there won't be any other scents but my own." I said lamely. Self conscious again. "No friends?" Jimin questioned further.
I shook my head. "No." Keeping my reply short.

"Anyway I'll see you guys Saturday then." I began to pack up my garbage, standing up and stretching.

"You won't be here tomorrow?" Hoseok asked. "Nope. I have a day shift for work, past few were night that's why I was able to come down."

I smiled feeling fulfilled at our conversation, this was the longest I'd talked to any- let alone all of them. Even if some didn't talk as much, progress.
"Have a good rest of the day and a good night. Bye guys!"

Maybe after all this is over they'd be open to the idea of becoming friends with me- a human.
"One step at a time.." I reminded myself as I stepped into my car, driving back home.

Saturday came quicker than I'd expected despite being a nervous and excited mess the previous day.
When I first stepped into BIGHIT I was immediately informed by the pretty secretary to wait in Bang PD's office, the guys and himself showing up a few minutes later.
He was the only one to be wearing a smile, but none of the guys looked like they would kill me so I counted it as a win.

"Good Morning Y/n! Nice to see you today." He greeted. "We just have some paperwork to fill up for the fostering process." I smiled back nervously and nodded.

I quickly read the terms and conditions over for once and once I finished, I turned to the seven not even having picked up the pen to sign yet.

"Are all of you okay with this?" I asked looking everyone over. Yoongi Scoffed, Jimin rolled his eyes and Namjoon looked away. Biting the inside of his cheek again.
"We are.. thank you for asking." Jin spoke up. I sighed but gave them another minute to take it back before finally picking up the pen, hesitating albeit signing my name to the dotted line below.

"You're all set! I'll call you eight back in two weeks for the official meeting of what to do next." Bang PD beamed brightly. He looked like a very jolly man in the moment.

"Do you have a phone number? In case any of us need to talk to you?" He nodded. "Don't worry Namjoon has it." That was a relief.

Shortly after the conversation he left, excusing himself in order to deal with some potential adopters. As soon as the door shut an awkward and tense silence fell over us like a blanket.

"Uh.. When did you want to leave..?" No one spoke, only glancing around to eachother.
"Okay.. how about we leave now and after I show everyone their rooms we can order whatever food you guys want and i can leave you all to get settled for a little while?" I questioned, mainly keeping my eyes to Namjoon and Jin in search for their approval.

And just like that I ended up leaving them alone. Not surprised when the food arrived for dinner, no one wanted to eat at the table with me.

"Excuse me..." I heard a quiet mumble come from Jin, who timidly walked out of one of the bigger rooms with the dirty dishes.

"I wasn't sure where you wanted these.." he didn't seem shy, just very cautious, making my heart pull in wonder at what had happened to all of them to make them put no trust in humans.. aside from Bang PD who seemed to be the only exception.

I sent him a small smile, "I can take them. Thank you Jin." I set the dishes in the sink as I prepped everything in order to clean them.

"Did everyone eat well? Anyone still hungry?" I asked when I'd noticed he hadn't left yet.

"Yes, thank you. Everyone's full." I nodded content at the answer. "Do... you need any help..?" I immediately shook my head.

"No that's alright, you all should rest and settle in, it's probably been an exhausting day already with so much happening."
He froze for a second before walking back towards the room Namjoon had claimed, where I'd just assumed the other six were already waiting.

Quickly I washed the dishes, feeling too tired mentally to worry about putting them away and instead got myself ready for sleep. Planning to wake up early to prepare breakfast for anyone. I only had a week off from day shifts, the second week they were to stay with me I'd be busy working some of the days.. so I hoped to make them as comfortable in my home as soon as I could.

It was ten thirty and breakfast had been laid out for almost an hour. I had heard the guys walk in and out of rooms avoiding the dining area all morning.

I reheated and placed the food out again before walking to Namjoons door nervously.
"Uh hello.." he said after a second. I could see a few of the others behind him eyeing me.

"I set up breakfast for all of you, I have some work to do this morning so I won't be able to join but I'll be in my room if anyone needs me. Please help yourselves." I bowed slightly and quickly hid in my room, leaning against the door as I sat on the floor.

A few minutes passed by and I could faintly hear their quiet chatter, enough to know they were eating but not clear enough to understand any of their conversation.
I wallowed in self pity while they ate, until I couldn't hear anymore talking.

Slowly I stood up and went out to start cleanup duty, pausing my steps as I met SeokJin and Yoongi already doing the dishes.

"You don't have to" I said quietly, looking around. A small smile when I realized they'd eaten everything. They may not like me but it seems they like my cooking at least.

"It's fine." Yoongi said bluntly, no emotion detected in his voice. I solemnly nodded. "Do you want my help?"
I couldn't stop or hide the hopeful tone in my voice, but the Hope quickly faded as he immediately shut me down.

"No thanks." My eyes met the floor again. Something I'd never done more than I had since I'd met these seven. I silently walked back to my room, closing the door lightly and flopping on top of my bed.

I leaned over to look at my alarm clock. {12:30pm}

I was already tired.
