"Hey! Sorry I haven't been able to update you sooner, but the guys have decided they're alright staying a few more weeks." Y/n happily, though tiredly spoke into her phone after dialing PD-Nim's number.
It'd been a few days since he called and she knew he should've already been updated.
PD-Nim smiled, "that's good to hear. Have you looked at what I sent you yet?"
Y/n hesitated a moment, "no I haven't read those documents yet, y'know... just want to get to know the guys a little better before hand."
He nodded, shaking his head even though he knew she couldn't see him. She needed to read those papers as soon as possible.. he thought to himself.
"Anyway... We're running low on staff at the moment, a lot of them and our usual volunteers have gotten sick lately or are currently on their holiday. Would you mind stopping by if you have time?" PD-Nim questioned. A stressed tone picked up in his voice.
"Yeah no problem, I'll be down tomorrow if that works?" Y/n asked, to which PD-Nim gave her his approval and soon enough the phone call ended.
Checking the time, being 9:00am, Y/n lifted herself off of her bed and headed to the kitchen to start on breakfast for everyone.
Surprisingly, walking on her bandaged feet wasn't as uncomfortable as she'd thought it'd be. In another day the stinging should be gone, although she figured the soreness would stay a little longer.
"Look who's finally awake." A voice commented to the side of her, turning towards it Y/n locked eyes with Yoongi.
Him, Hoseok and Jin were already in the kitchen.
"Good morning?" Y/n spoke, although her sleepy tone and confused eyes made it seem more like a question than a greeting.
She entered further into the kitchen to see they'd already started on breakfast,
"Did you need any help? I was just about to start cooking."
Jin smiled at her and with a motion of his head, guided her over near him.
"Mind cutting these up?" He gestured to the food on the chopping board.
"'Course no problem!"
No one talked much during the making of breakfast, but Y/n found immense joy in being included with the three hybrids.
Maybe there was some truth to Yoongi's comments and questions the other day.
Soon enough they'd finished and called in the rest of the guys to come eat.
Y/n looked around, counting the six who were up and wearing a confused look when she couldn't spot Jungkook.
Even in the mornings he'd usually be pretty loud, so it was a little shocking to her that she hadn't realized he wasn't in the kitchen sooner.
"Where's Jungkook?" She asked, following Yoongi and Jins lead with placing dishes on the table.
"Asleep." Taehyung answered, looking out of it, and like he wanted to go back to bed as well.
"Shouldn't someone wake him up?" Y/n questioned further, taking a seat at the table once all the dishes were set. Namjoon and Jin stealing the two seats beside her.
Jimin shook his head, "No. He had a rough night and couldn't sleep. He'll be up soon enough anyway." He explained.
Last night every time Jungkook had fallen asleep he kept having dreams of Aera, or nightmares of his pack leaving him. Safe to say Taehyung and Jimin didn't have any plans to wake him up anytime soon.
Y/n nodded, knowing when she shouldn't press further and started to eat.
It felt different today, a good type of different. Jimin didn't seem like he completely hated her guts so that was a nice change of pace.
