"Why didn't you tell Bang PD?" Namjoon asked, eyeing me.
"I didn't see the reason. Please keep it to yourself." I said back, starting to dry some of the dishes.

"He could've sent you to the hospital.. your face is starting to purple.. even through your makeup.." Jungkook ranted slightly, catching the other boys off guard. "Sometimes a little pain is worth it." I simply replied.

"So what does covering for Kyon accomplish exactly?" Jin questioned. I took a deep breath, putting away the cleaned dishes before I turned to face them and answered. "Not all humans will react with anger. Some of us are ok." I turned back around finishing the last little bit of work, tidying up things and wiping down the counter.
"Anyway have a goodnight guys. See you tomorrow!" I waved goodbye and started outside towards my home.

The next day I showed up earlier to help prep breakfast, I was tasked with helping serve the foxes and then cat hybrids, honestly just grateful at this point I wouldn't have to deal with Kyon or any other bunny hybrids who clearly didn't like me.
A small bit of fear raked through my body just before everyone entered, if a bunny hybrid was strong enough to cause me to spend almost an extra fifteen minutes to cover the bruise, and make it painful to speak too much... what could foxes and cat hybrids do...

Although once I finished setting up, another worker went to bring up the foxes, and as they piled in line I started handing out their meals.
"Thanks.." a young girl timidly said. I smiled as I handed her the tray, "You're welcome hun. Enjoy!" A small smile ghosted her lips as she quickly scurried off to a seat and started eating, filling my heart with warmth.
This was a better start than yesterday at least.

"So you're the human who got bitch slapped by Kyon?" An older male said, I looked up only to be met with a smirk. "You're makeup doesn't cover purple and blue very well."
"enjoy.." I said as I passed him his tray.
He took it but didn't move yet. "Is there a problem?" I asked timidly and hesitantly, my fear slowly beginning to build up again.

He laughed. "Yeah. You." He replied darkly. Rolling my eyes at the vague answer I prepped the next tray and thankfully he left, sitting at one of the tables and started eating.
I did my best to continue as normal. Most of the fox hybrids ignored me, a few smiled but it was better than being barked at.

Finally Jimin stood infront of me, "Here you go! Enjoy." I smiled to him, handing the tray over- my mood lifting again.
He nodded and gently took it, avoiding making any contact with my hand. I didn't comment on it, understanding somewhat from how he'd acted around me yesterday.

"Aw~ look everyone! Park isn't messing or flirting with this one." The same guy from before yelled, my eyebrows creasing in question at the same time as Jimin rolled his eyes.
"Yah! Shut up and mind your business." Jimin walked off and sat to eat.

Immediately I pulled myself together again and started getting ready for the cat hybrids.
It took the full thirty minutes for me to prep everything as well as clean and sanitize it to make sure the food wouldn't be contaminated with anything the foxes had been served.
Each group had a different diet and although I didn't fully understand, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

The fox hybrids started lining up again, passing their trays back as they went off back to their enclosure.
A crash by my feet startled me suddenly and I once again looked up to be met with the fox who had caused me issues earlier, and bugged Jimin.
Obviously having a problem with me.

"Whoops." I sighed, picking up the tray and placing it to the side, choosing not to engage in hopes he'd just leave since the cats going to start coming up.
"Leave her alone Hyejin." Jimin grumbled out as he handed me his empty tray, looking annoyed and mad at the same time.

"Ah loosen up Jimin- it's just harmless fun." Hyejin replied, reaching over to grab my arm tightly, making me start to panic once again. Fox hybrids would definitely be stronger than bunnies-
"Please- let go..!" I squealed out, trying to pull away as best I could but to no avail.

"Aww~ but you look so pretty~" I struggled more, his grip burning my arm as he twisted his hand.
"What the fuck Hyejin!" Jimin said loudly.

He tried to help, only to get knocked to the group by Hyejin's elbow. "Jimin!" I yelled, concerned he'd knocked the back of his head. Hyejins grip not loosening in the slightest.

I struggled more but froze when I caught Yoongi's voice, sounding angry. "The hell is going on?!"
I followed his eyes which were fixed on Jimin, who had pushed himself into a sitting position, cradling a very bloody nose.
"C'mon- I only wanted some fun... Jimin should mind his own buisness.." Hyejin mumbled, seeming to back up at the angry looks towards him, pulling me with him as a whimper escaped my lips.

Taehyung helped Jimin up, he said a quick goodbye to his pack mates, clearly still mad and quickly stormed down the stairs.

"Let go." Jin ordered, my arm on fire. Hyejin grumbled before releasing me and walking out.

"Hey." Taehyung's voice rumbled in the silence, bouncing off the walls as his intimidating gaze set on the fox. He walked up nonchalantly, hands in his pocket, and back slouched.
Before slapping Hyejin hard, his neck snapping to the side and a red mark appearing on his cheek.

"Next time you hurt Jimin, you won't be walking away." Taehyung grumbled. Hyejin nodded before practically running out.

Once he had let go of my arm, I'd rushed over to prep three trays, knowing the other cat hybrids would be here soon. Handing each of them a tray as their attention focused back on me and their food.
I bowed slightly once my hands were free, mumbling out a "thank you".

Yoongi scoffed, rolled his eyes and walked away. "Next time, try not to get one of us hurt" Taehyung grumbled walking beside Yoongi. Clearly placing the blame on me..

Jin only shook his head, eyes showing disappointment and... hurt? Fear? I couldn't place it. He quickly followed to sit beside the two.

Luckily nothing else happened as the cat hybrids came up and started eating. Eventually it came to an end and I gathered the trays.

Yoongi, Taehyung, and Jin refused to look at me the entire time and soon I was left alone to clean and pack up.
