"Thanks for coming with me, do you want to come in or wait here?" Y/n unclipped her seatbelt and opened the driver door of the car.

"I'll wait here, just let me know if it's going to take longer than an hour." Jin replied, leaning back slightly in the seat.

It felt nice that Y/n wasn't walking on eggshells around him after telling her more about his past. She made it seem like nothing at all had changed, when so much was happening at once.

Y/n nodded to him, shutting the door and anxiously making her way inside the restaurant.

She immediately wanted to run back out when she saw who was awaiting her, sitting at the counter with an innocent smile plastered on.

"Excuse me." Y/n went to move past, assuming her manager would be waiting for her either in the back, or the break room to explain why she had to urgently come in.

The restaurant didn't look busy, in fact the closed sign was out on the door even though it was open hours. That probably wasn't the best sign for her.

"Sit with me! Your manager should be out in a minute anyway once she finishes talking with my owner~" There was something lying underneath her tone that Y/n couldn't place.

She didn't know if it was a warning, or just the way Aera sounded normally.
Y/n didn't get a choice once Aera yanked her down by the arm to the seat.

If it hadn't been for the manager walking in, with a tall man in a suit Y/n was sure she would've done something she'd regret to the bunny girl.

"Y/n L/n. This is Mr.Seok. The owner of the restaurant franchise." Her manger looked glum. Eyes resting on the floor and a conflicted expression worn on her face.

Mr.Seok. The CEO. Aera's owner. Y/n stood from the chair. Bowing politely at him and introducing herself.

"Let's cut to the chase shall we?" He asked.
Nodding, the two sat on opposite sides in one of the booths. Aera sitting beside her owner while the manager silently disappeared into the background.

"I'm aware you've adopted seven hybrids who are all apart of my hybrid, Aera's pack. I'd like to know how much you want for them."

Okay, that was shocking.
When Aera originally said her owner would pull this type of thing, Y/n didn't fully believe it. Nor did she expect it to happen the day she adopted the seven.

All of them thought that they'd have a little time to recuperate before Aera pulled another stunt.

"They aren't for sale. I apologize but I'm here concerning my job, not them."

Her reply was blunt. Y/n couldn't help but feel agitated. This entire time, she had been trying to play peace keeper.

She'd done everything she could think of that would be best for those around her that she cared for. Tried not to draw attention, tried giving people second chances.
Something she swore to herself there, that she would not be offering Mr.Seok or Aera.

"Alright, either sell or give me the seven or you're fired and banned from working in any of my restaurants indefinitely." Y/n froze. Unsure what to do.

Jin watched as Y/n ran out of the building, tears streaming down her face as she hopped into the seat and stared blankly ahead.

Jin attempted to ask her what had happened, what was wrong. But the only words Y/n muttered was asking if he could drive.

"Aera fucking did what?!" Jungkook seethed as soon as Y/n explained.

Namjoon and Taehyung were trying their best to calm Y/n down, and preventing her from going into another panic attack.

She sat between the two as they held her close on the couch. Her tears streamed down her face but her expression was almost completely blank. She'd been quiet the entire car ride back, and was only now explaining what had happened inside.
Jin hadn't known anything the entire time he drove back.

She'd worked so hard at that job, had gotten promoted a few times in the past, and made decent money for what it was.
And just like that it was torn away from her. All of her hard work, gone.

Jungkook wanted to punch something or someone. He couldn't believe the person Aera had turned into since they last saw each other.
He couldn't believe how little she really cared for them.

"If she knew anything, surely she knows this only pisses us off right?" Yoongi growled.
His claws automatically elongating as well as his fangs.
His hybrid side desperate to release his pent up anger.

"It's manipulation." Jimin said blankly.
Namjoon nodded in agreement, before he started to explain in more detail to the others.

"She knows we have some form of bond with Y/n, considering we were so quick to say she was adopting us. Obviously if we care for her well-being, her loosing her job because of us should make us doubt if it's in Y/ns best interest to commit to the adoption."

This seemed to snap Y/n back to her senses.

"If you guys want to stay, you should. Staying or leaving should be up to you, not Aera and whatever she does." Y/n didn't want them to leave. She had debated not telling them, but it had just come out of her mouth when they asked her what was wrong.

It was so natural to seek comfort from them, to tell them her problem that she hadn't second guessed herself.

"Look, there are other jobs. I just kinda wish I had punched her or Mr.Seok before rushing out.." Y/n continued.

Jimin and Taehyung froze when they heard the name, turning to make eye contact with each other.
It couldn't really be him, could it?that was a decently common last name.. right?

Y/n leaned into Taehyung and buried her face in his chest, he gladly accepted her and wrapped her in his arms.
She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down.
'Everything was going to be fine, it'll be fine. You're fine.'  She kept repeating in her head.

"Take some deep breaths for me Kit. You're fine." Taehyung softly said, running his fingers gently through her hair, careful not to get them caught.

"Yeah, we've dealt with Aera before and survived. You can trust us." Hoseok tried to cheer her up by sending a smile, even though his nerves were dying on the inside.

"I'll prepare some food for you guys alright? Just take some time to breath Y/n. We'll make sure everything works out." Jin comforted her. Softly patting her shoulder before heading to the kitchen to whip up something light and easy.

Food was a good comforter, and everyone in the house was in need of that at the moment.
