part two of wasted chapter **

It's been one year since Maggie has moved on from her toxic ex. Billie was a big help in this process. She was there for everything taking Maggie on outings and making a smile appear back on her face that was gone for years.

Billie got lonely at times, so she insisted Maggie move in with her and they became roommates. The house was already paid off and energy bill was enough for the girls to split. Billie loved spending time with Maggie, and it was the same way with Maggie.

Maggie knew she wouldn't be ready to date for a while she knew she had to heal and love herself before she could even think about loving someone else. Billie on the other hand went on dates with females just to find someone for her but none of them felt right.

Nothing was wrong with the woman Billie went on dates with, but it was more like Billie would go on a date and ghost them after a while. Billie didn't know why she did that but then again, she did know why she did it. None of those girls where Maggie and Billie only wanted Maggie.

Maggie wasn't blindsided to the sneaky comments and the flirtatious jokes Billie made. But that was Billie her whole life she was charismatic, so Maggie didn't think anything of it. Maggie wouldn't admit it to anyone, but she hated seeing Billie dress up to go on dates late at night and leaving her alone in the house.

Some nights Maggie would stay up just waiting for Billie. Maggie needed her presence all the time, Maggie felt the safest with the blonde.

"Maggie I'm going out on another date" Billie yelled spraying her perfume. "Oh Ok" Maggie replied in a low voice.

"See you later." The blonde said as she exited the door. As Billie got into her car, she sat there a while thinking. Billie needed this date to go perfect but then again, she wasn't a bad dater she just knew what she wanted, and it made all the other woman below standard to the blonde.

All the woman picked were not ugly. Rather gorgeous but something didn't sit right with Billie when they would hold conversations. Every time Billie would look for something to talk about the girl's reactions wouldn't be like Maggie.

She knew it was wrong comparing other girls to her best friend, but that's all Billie wanted. Billie was waiting for the woman's eyes to glow when talking about something passionate of for them not to be afraid of snorting in front of Billie.

That's why she adored Maggie so much. Maggie wasn't afraid to be herself in front of the blonde. She wasn't afraid to say something weird or snot or even let out burps. She was herself and that's all Billie wanted but deep down even that wouldn't be the case Billie wanted Maggie.

Billie was looking forward to this date the girl was interesting to say least. They liked the same music and had some things in common so far it was a good start all Billie had to do was drive to the restaurant.

_______

Maggie sat at home with a tub of ice cream watching TV wrapped in a weighted blanket. She was disappointed that Billie left.

Some days Maggie wished she could just scream out her feelings for Billie, but she knew that would be awkward. Last year they confessed their love, but the next morning didn't even talk about it.

Billie was a sweetheart but when it came to feelings for people, she seemed to always keep that part isolated. Thats probably why Maggie was shocked that night she was drunken mess. Maggie loved Billie there was no doubt about it, but she just didn't know what that would do to their friendship.

Maggie had heard the "I'm going on a date" phrases for the 6th time the pass 2 weeks. She couldn't help but get envious and jealous something about another woman spending time with Billie made her jealous.
