It was late at night and the two lovers where in a heated argument because of nothing. The girls rarely yelled so for them to bickering was a rare occurrence.

"Obviously I didn't think it would bother you" Billie yelled. "But i did and you still chose to do nothing about it." Maggie replied.

"Stop acting like a bitch all the time!" The blonde yelled causing Maggie to flinch as her eyes watered. "Maggie baby I didn't-" Billie started to say until Maggie stopped her.

"Sense I'm the bitch then don't talk to me." She replied walking downstairs. Billie knew the raven-haired girl didn't like yelling and especially being called out her name.

It was something Maggie's father did rather often when she was a little girl and something she had to witness when he would hit on Maggie's mother.

Billie truly didn't mean to call her that it just slipped but she knew Maggie was far from being a bitch and Billie was worried her indirect word choice wasn't going to end well.

when Maggie was younger, she went through a lot of family issues. It took Maggie a while for Billie to open up and there was certain things Billie had to refrain from when going into this relationship with Maggie, but she was willing to do so because she loved Maggie.

Billie just hoped her choice of words didn't set Maggie back from all the progress Maggie had made over the course of three years.

Sometime Billie would just say things and not even notice the effect of what they were saying until it affected the person, and this was one of those times. "While Billie pondered on how she was going to make this right Maggie sat downstairs.

the raven-haired girl was scanning her bookshelf that took up majority of their living room wall. Billie had built it for her when they were in quarantine which was also when Maggie picked back up her reading interest.

The raven-haired girl had been scanning for the perfect book she hadn't read although if you asked her, she'd probably replied with she has read majority of section A1 to D3. As she finally found the right book, she sat it down on the table the cover reading " It Ends With Us".

Maggie walked to the one empty shelf on her bookshelf wall and picked a candle. French Vanilla was the scent she loved so much. It was what Billie sweater smelled like their first date.

It was like a comfort smell to Maggie. She loved everything about the scent and how it was like a warm protective blanket. Maggie wasn't really angry at Billie she knew Billie would never call her anything out her mind she was madder at the fact those words appeared in her head.

Maggie got her blanket and wrapped herself in a tight burrito position as she started to read the book.

Maggie was sitting on the couch reading for about two hours still waiting for an apology. This wasn't like Billie to not apologize maybe she did actually mean it. Maggie thought to herself.

Billie ordered some flowers which took a little to long to arrive. she also mentioned to bring them to the back gate which Maggie wouldn't notice. Billie didn't know what was going on in Maggie's head, but she knew it was time to apologize.

Maggie heard the bedroom door open, and Maggie rolled her eyes not looking towards the blonde's direction. After all this time she finally thought it was appropriate that she apologize.

Maggie wasn't mad but she didn't want to see Billie either. So, she continued to read as Billie cleared her throat trying to get her attention as best, she could.

"So, you're going to ignore me?" Billie asked as she stood at the top of the stairs. Maggie continued to ignore the blonde as Billie was getting aggravated.

"Sweetheart?" She said calling Maggie causing her to turn around. Billie had a smile plastered across her face. Billie knew the affect that word had on Maggie and knew it would get her attention immediately.

Billie voice sent a shiver through Maggie, It was hard to stay mad at the woman when she looked like sheer perfection. Although this was the case Maggie turned her head back around ignoring her after thinking that Billie had won the ignoring contest.

The blonde sighed walking downstairs to the raven-hair girl standing in front of her. Billie was waiting for some type of reaction from Maggie a glance would make her happy at this moment.

"I'm sorry baby I never meant to call you out of your name or yell at you." Billie stated sitting in front of Maggie.

Maggie finally looked up at the Blond for a while until finally speaking. "Are you sorry Billie? Because it took you damn near two hours to come and say it." She stated going back to look at her book.

Billie sat there thinking of what to do in the moment, Maggie was right it took her long but at least she had the flowers that weren't even acknowledge by the raven-haired woman.

Billie got on her knees in front of Maggie placing both her hands on both knees.

Maggie sat up straight and made contact with her finally looking at her longer than three seconds. Billie smirked. Maggie was caught off guard by what was going through Billie's mind when she did this.

"Spread your legs for me so I can show you just how sorry I am." Billie said causing Maggie to get hot. She sat her book down on the table as she took off her sweatpants dragging them to the floor along with her undergarments.

Maggie spreaded her legs as Billie took both of her legs resting them on her shoulder.

Billie and Maggie were taking in the scent of the candle as they tried steadying themselves. "Maggie I'm really sorry, I don't want you to think sex was an apology. I really am sorry." She said as Maggie nodded her head.

"I was never mad; I was shocked to say non the less." She replied as Billie wrapped her arm around Maggie's body.

"I forgive you Billie." Maggie said stroking Billie's face as she sent a sweet kiss to her lips.

"I love you, Maggie."

"I love you more Billie."

With that the girls fell asleep on the couch as the candle died down and nothing left but melted wax filled the warm glass.
