Billie was a Senior in high school it was the beginning of her senior year, and she couldn't wait to get out of that hellhole of a school.

She struggled with fitting in. Billie just wanted to keep to herself so the days could come and go. Billie was by no means popular. She often got bullied by people who self-proclaimed themselves to be popular.

Honestly, they were just shit heads who had no friends but were hella rich off of daddy's money. Billie didn't have any friends. She would often read a book in the bathroom as lunch passed to avoid having to fit in at a table full of different cliques.

Billie also didn't want to see Maggie. Billie has had a crush on Maggie since freshman year of high school. She had never talked to Maggie before and didn't plan on it. The blonde would stare at the girl in some classes not staring for too long.

That would just be weird. Billie wasn't staring to be creepy although her persona would make her seem like a creep or non-existent to some. Billie was studying the girl. Maggie had black hair with a nose piercing and a belly button piercing that Billie had seen due to the girls revealing clothing.

She had a spider tattoo on her shoulder and a snake tattoo starting from her belly button probably going lower. Billie knew Maggie didn't smoke or drink every time her friends would offer, she would decline which gave Billie that conclusion.

She was smart but didn't want anyone to know. Billie knew this because the girl wouldn't participate or listen in class but every time papers were handed out Billie wouldn't see anything less than a 95.

Some people would find it weird that Billie knew all of these things about Maggie and call her weird which wouldn't be the first time she was called that, but Billie liked examining people. Especially people she found attractive.

Maggie had a kind soul and Billie could tell. Her so-called friends didn't seem to reciprocate. That exact friend group bullied and tormented Billie almost every day. They made it their duty to make Billie's life a living hell.

Sadly, Maggie was never there with her friends when they did that. Either Maggie didn't have the strength to tell her friends to stop or she simply did know what the girls were doing to the blonde.

Billie dares not tell anyone or the girls threatened her it would be 10x's worse. Billie hated school. She loved everything about other than the punches to the noes or the verbal assault even the mental abuse that made Billie start going to therapy four times a week.

Billie didn't know why the girls even bully her. She never spoke to the girls out of all the time she had been attending the school. She didn't even know none of the girl's names but the group leader in a way. Her name was Rachel.

Billie only knew that from when Maggie and Rachel had a huge argument in the bathroom one day. They didn't know Billie was in the bathroom obviously. She wasn't really interested in the conversation either she was too busy reading her book.

There where upsides and downsides to school. Billie sadly was a victim to both. Except her downsides wasn't too much homework. It was the bruises on her body and the dried blood on her lips.

Billie woke up slowly as her alarm ranged. She dredged getting up it was something about staying under the warm covers or being trapped under the only place that was safe to the blonde that made her want to stay like that forever.

"Billie wake up" Her mother said sweetly. "I'm up mom" Billie said slowly getting out of her bed as her bones ached. Billie slowly dragged her feet to her bathroom and stripping her clothes.
