15. 《Forgiveness 》

Y/n's POV

After a few weeks~

After the confession, I had a cold for a few weeks, but with Jeonghan by my side, I quickly recovered. After the confession, Jeonghan asked me to be his girlfriend, and I was genuinely thrilled—no, I mean, ecstatic—with love and happiness!

I've never been happier, and it had to be the person I used to despise but now love. Jeonghan also told his parents we were dating, and they gave their approval, feeling like the kind of loving parents I've always wanted.

Then, while we were out on a date and enjoying a picnic by the Han River, I woke up from my slumber in Jeonghan's lap. "You woke up my love?"Jeonghan murmured quietly, and I nodded as I embraced his waist.

We remained in that posture until sunset and I looked at Jeonghan with a grin that never faded, saying, "Jeonghan, I love you and I'm forever glad that you came into my life."

He put my hair under the ear and held me on my right cheek, "I love you too and i will never leave your side, I will always be by your side."

As we shared a loving kiss right under the meadow.

I came home after my date with Jeonghan and it felt like a fairy tale, I decided to come clean and face my parents and I know it sounds dumb given how they will probably react, but I'm strong; I don't care if my dad slaps me or they disown me as long as I know I'm my own person and capable of making my own decisions.

I breathe in and out before I go in their house, I mean it was my house as well but I moved out anyway.

As I walked into the home and saw my parents waiting at the staircase in formal clothes, I called out, "Mom, Dad." I assumed they were on their way to a party.

"Speak immediately because we have important matters to attend to," Dad said in a deep voice seeing that he wants me to get to the point.

"Mom Dad, I am sorry that I yelled at you guys and I know you want the best for me but i also want to do what I want im my own person but I want my parents to be in my life. " I said with a firm tone, balling my fist.

"I forgive you." Dad unsuspectedly said as I look at him widening my eyes but yet glowing in happiness.

"But after you finished law you can live freely but still visit us when you're free." My dad cheerfully said, Normally, I see him with the same scowl every day, but it's been years since I've made him smile.

"Thank you dad." I look at him with tears forming in my eyes.

 "I agree with your dad y/n, Remember we're always here and it's not acting I don't use my profession on family," My mom said as I gave them a big embrace.

A hug filled with love and care, Love from my parents isn't that frequent but it may happen more often now that i have made up with them my life is complete and I'm happy it is.
