Chapter 11: Your hands are cold

It was winter, which meant snow would soon come. It also meant I got to spend some time with my family, Ena, Mizuki and Kanade. And it would also mean that I'm close to being a 2nd year, a year more closer to the goal, oh and it's almost my birthday. Can't wait I guess?

Kanade asked me to meet on rooftop before we have our small christmas break and it was also end of the school so I went. I entered the rooftop and saw Kanade "Kanade, what do you need?" "Oh, you're finally here, I wanted to ask if you wanted to hang out" "Sure" "Oh ya, I had another question" Huh, this one sounded important so I listened very well "I wanted to ask if I could go online school for 2nd year?" Why is Kanade asking me this? I mean it's her choice "Huh? Why are you asking me? Isn't that your choice?" "Oh well, I'll be online 2nd year alright?" "Okay. Shouldn't we go already so we can hang out?" "Oh right.."

I text my mom that I would be late home again hanging with friends but she'll probably just not let me so I'll just ignore her when needed. We went to the nearby park, there was ice cream and hot choco near where we sat "Do you want ice cream or hot choco?" Kanade asked me, well it was cold and an ice cream would not support me in the coldness so "Hot chocolate, can you get me that?" "Of course, stay here" I just sat there as Kanade went to the seller, I decided to use my phone to escape boredness.

"Boo!" A voice said behind me followed by laughter by the same person who scared well at least tried to scare me, "Mizuki?" "Hi Mafuyu! I'm here with Ena, where is she?" "Ena is here? Doesn't she have school" "Nope, the snow kind of covered the entrance apparently to her" Mizuki walked to sit beside me "Wait, you didn't know Ena was here? Then who are you with?" "Kanade" "Oh, of course you're with her, you've been hanging out with her more than Ena" "Did Ena tell you that?" "Of course she did, she's very fond of you, you know?" "I'd say she's more fond with you than me" I whispered to myself, Ena really likes talking about Mizuki and Akito wasn't wrong about it "Huh? What did you say?" "Nothing"

We continued chatting til I saw Kanade carrying 2 hot chocolates "I'm back with the hot choco. Oh hi Mizuki, why are you here?" She said to Mizuki while giving me the hot chocolate "I'm here cause me and Ena were gonna hang out, I think she's still sleeping or something" "I doubt she's sleeping" "well then-" "MIZUKI! I finally found you!" Ena said running towards us "Oh hey Mafuyu and Kanade, what are you guys doing here? I thought you be home by now" "Ena, we're just hanging out since the break is somewhat long" Kanade said to Ena, now that all 4 of us were here, I guess we could chat. I'll just finish this hot chocolate.

Mizuki and Ena did most of the chatting while me and Kanade sat beside them in silence, it was a comfortable silence at the least "Hey guys, wanna go to a theme park?" Ena asked randomly "I have 4 tickets I bought 4 just incase I lost 2" "Sure, I mean we have nothing else to do" Now we were going to a park? I mean there's nothing wrong with it but- Kanade grabbed my hand and we were going to the theme park now. I'll just go, nothing to do.

I noticed that Kanade's hands were colder than usual "Kanade, your hands are cold. Do you want gloves to keep you warm?" "No need, I like the cold" "Oh okay" Kanade continues to hold my hand til we arrived to the park. "We're here!" Ena shouted, the park was big I think I would get lost in it so I'll just hold Kanade's hand because I didn't want to get lost.

The theme park was closed because the heavy snow, poor Ena's money got wasted. "Why did it have to close now? My poor money!" "It could be because of the same reason your classes got canceled" Mizuki said to Ena while walking beside me seemingly wanting to whisper something to me. "Are you and Kanade dating?" They whispered, not this question again "No we aren't Mizuki" "Oh oops, maybe I misunderstood. It's just everytime I see you guys together, you usually hold hands" Okay, maybe that seemed reasonable. Wait do we really hold hands most of the time when we hanging out?

After hanging out, I went home "Mafuyu, did you not see my message?! I told you to be home and where were you? With friends? You should have been studying" I forgot about my mom, she's getting mad at me for hanging with friends than studying again "I'm sorry mom" "Just go to your room to study" More studying again, it was quite late I'll just study anyways.

Super lame ending to this chapter I know, next chapter is Kanade's view of the same day of this chapter by the way.
