[Chapter Six]: No Escape From The Past

A few days ago... 

He exited the portal and he was in a... bar? 'The hell?'  He turned his head and the portal was gone. He turned it back, and in front of him was a man sitting on one of the stools. The scary part about him? The man had lots of hands attached to his body, but his actual hands seemed fine. 'THE HELL?' 

"It's you, huh?" the man spoke, sending a chill down Athos' spine, but he didn't show any fear. 

"All right, I'd like you to explain things right now," Athos demanded. 

"Did Kurogiri not tell you?" he asked, and Athos assumed that 'Kurogiri' was the portal guy. "Your Quirks are..."

"...Valuable to our cause," Kurogiri finished, now in a somewhat human form. His face was covered, but everything else was in normal human clothes. Strangely, he had a metal collar. 

"Cause?" Athos repeated in confusion. "What cause?" 

"We want to kill All Might," the man stated. Athos looked at him in disbelief. 

"Haha, how funny," he said. "What's your real cause?"

"That was our real cause," Kurogiri responded. "It is our plan to kill All Might, and we'd like your assistance." 

From that moment on, from the tone of the portal guy's voice, from making eye contact with the man with hands, only then did Athos realise how serious they were. He could feel pure evil practically coming out of them... and it was spreading to him. 

"And what do I get if I... help...?" Athos asked.

"We'll help you find... them." Shigaraki dropped a photo on the floor, and Athos looked down at it. His eyes widened a little, and he remained silent for a moment.

"What makes you think I want to find them?" Athos questioned, though he already knew that they knew the answer...

Revenge.

...

"What do you want me to do, Shigaraki?" Athos asked, looking at the man with the hands. They were standing by the fountain in the USJ, while Eraser Head was going through the enemies. It seemed that Kurogiri had just separated the students, but the man they were after, All Might, was nowhere to be seen. 

"He won't take me out of his sight if I do it..." Shigaraki said, looking over at Eraser Head. 

"You want me to attack him?" Athos inquired, but Shigaraki shook his head. 

"I want you to attack a couple of the students. Maybe even kill a few. He won't let me go, since I look like the leader. But you? You should be fine if you manage to sneak around." 

"...You showed me the students of this class. And you must know who I have in mind, right?"

Shigaraki menacingly smiled at him. "He's in that forest. Go after him." He pointed in a direction, and Athos ran, keeping his distance from Eraser Head. As Shigaraki watched him, he continued to smile. "How many do we have to harm for you to come out, All Might?" 

Present Time...

"That... was a close one!" Carbon said, taking a deep breath. "Thanks, Walker..." 

Walker was looking over at the other person his whip had latched onto; Ashido. 

"Do you really owe me your thanks?" Walker asked. "Last I checked, I think it was mainly a mistake for me to have done that. Maybe it wasn't for you, Carbon, but for Ashido, she probably would have been saved..."
