"Heya kiddos, don't cry!" F/N (Father's name) said with a smile, testing his chances at making the twins happy just from his face. "We're going to come back soon, Mommy and I are just going out for a bit of a walk." With his large hands, the man bent over to pick up Carbon first before extending himself back to his full height. He gave the boy a cuddle and patted him on the back, causing Carbon to burp rather loudly.
F/N chuckled before placing Carbon back down in his crib. He then gently placed his hands around Y/N's small body and slowly raised him to his own body, performing the same things he did for Carbon. After burping as loud as Carbon did, Y/N found himself being placed back into his crib, where he was able to gaze at the E/C eyes of his father, which the twins had inherited and shared.
"Remember, I'm always going to be here for you."
Liar.
...
Pain. Pain was the first thing Y/N felt as a lingering darkness filled his sight. It was a darkness he was familiar with — he'd experienced this a few times beforehand. However, that didn't make the whole unconscious thing any more easier to deal with. After all, he had no idea how long he was unconscious for, and Y/N was certain that the injuries he'd sustained on the night of the incident was definitely the worst he'd ever experienced by a long shot.
For a good few minutes, he allowed himself to lay there in the darkness, deep in his thoughts that were only seen by him and the voices inside of his head. That night was a night to remember, for sure, but that didn't necessarily mean he wanted to keep it in mind. So many... shocking revelations...? Were those the right words to describe that eventful night?
For starters, the idea of villains managing to take over a tower on one of the most secure places he knew of was mind-blowing. Whilst he was aware that there were insiders helping them, Wolfram sure did have some nerve attempting that, even going through with it despite All Might's presence on the island being known well before the incident.
The number of double-crosses and betrayals was also far higher than anticipated. To think David Shield's own assistant would betray him in light of all the time they must have spent each other... What made things worse was that Sam was then betrayed as well. It may have been extremely predictable and in all honesty he had expected it to happen, but it just... Y/N couldn't describe how he felt.
Y/N let out a defeated sigh before he opened his eyes, finding himself to be met with his arms and legs wrapped in tight bandages. He blankly stared at them and then groaned, already knowing why he had these on. It was of course due to his reckless use of Strength on his arms and Speed on his legs. However, despite that, he didn't regret it as much as someone would expect. After all, to him, that seemed like the only option for him.
'The funny thing is it was still a stupid choice.' came the annoyed voice of Reflection, who was frowning from the insides of Y/N's mind.
'Oh come on, Reflection, what did you want me to do?' Y/N replied with a frown, but he could still understand where Reflection was coming from.
Meditatio fake coughed, 'Maybe leave it to the guys that won't destroy their bodies everytime they use their Quirks? Just a suggestion, you know, don't need to follow that sort of advice next time you're in a similarly tight situation!'
'Jokes aside,' Hansha butted in, sounding very impatient and bored of this current conversation, 'try your best to avoid doing more reckless actions like these. You'll soon see the consequences of your actions.'
