"Hmm," the creature hummed, staring in a new crystal ball that was standing on his hand. He had destroyed the other one in his wrath and yet he still wasn't in a great mood.

"Is there anything of interest, sir?" asked Aurora curiously; she had been watching him examine the crystal ball for a while now. It was natural of her to grow curious of what her master was looking at; after all she knew he couldn't have been looking at the Guardian seeing as he despised the very sight of him.

"This boy," he said simply before presenting the crystal ball to her. On the opposite side of Aurora, Akui couldn't help but gaze at the crystal ball as well, interested to see what had caught his interest.

Athos silently jogged laps around the forest where he had located his parents. The only sounds that escaped his mouth were the relentless panting as drops of sweat trailed down his reddened face. His lungs felt like they were on fire; everytime he breathed in and out a sharp pain rang through his chest. His legs felt extremely weak and with every step he took, a wave of pain coursed through his feet.

The boy didn't dare to utter a single word in fear of losing valuable energy to simply let out words that nobody would hear. Well, nobody he actually cared about would hear. He narrowed his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows with anger stirring inside of his body. His mother was supervising him from afar without his permission of course. As he jogged, he kept cursing her over and over again in his head, finding more and more ways to insult the woman in every possible way.

He needed to figure out how to improve his abilities with Neglect. It was a powerful Quirk, there was no doubt in his mind, but it wasn't powerful enough to take down Y/N, which was his ultimate goal. Athos was humiliated after living a life where he felt superior to all, especially Y/N. With every failure, more hatred boiled up inside of him like lava. However, with every failure, there was also a surge of determination. He had to get stronger, he had to...

"What about him is interesting to you, sir?" Aurora asked sceptically; he honestly seemed like a worthless boy to her.

"Interesting Quirk..." the creature muttered under his breath, his words barely audible to Aurora. "Powerful Quirk... It gives me an idea... A dangerous idea, no doubt... A reckless idea... But it might just be what I need to become powerful enough to the point where even the full power of One For All will struggle against me." He laughed with joy, a grin forming itself around his face. It shocked Aurora to see him so overjoyed. "It'll be a last resort with how dangerous it'll be, but if it works...

...Master will be so proud of me."

The opening starts with Midoriya's (hero costume on) hand on the ground as important flashbacks of prior events fill the screen, him appearing only as a silhouette. After Midoriya dashes off into the distance, the scene pans to a younger All Might receiving One For All from his deceased master, whose face is covered by a black shadow. It then transitions to a scene showing Midoriya, Y/N and All Might sitting on the bench, with each person having a bright smile on their face.
