There was a lot I needed to say, but I didn't realise I had already run out of time.
I didn't realise today would be the end of my life.
I'm sorry, Carbon. Will you ever be given the chance to forgive me?
...
"Master, I thought I was to fight the dog on my own?" Akui asked with a hint of indignation; most of Beyond's servants wouldn't dare to speak to Beyond like this, but the Creature always had a bit more leniency when it came to Akui, being the person he was most fond of.
"I never exactly specified that. I merely said you were going to kill him for me," Beyond replied with a sinister grin. "Alas, I've done some thinking..."
"I can do it without her!" Akui declared, as he pointed at Aurora, who just looked to the side without a word. "I don't need her!"
"Now, now, Akui, she's going to be doing something else," Beyond reassured him, letting out a chuckle. "Now, according to some information that has been leaked through methods I won't be sharing, the Shie Hassaikai Raid that Y/N will be participating in is for a little girl by the name of Eri."
"And you'd like her to kidnap Eri? Is that what you're saying?" Akui questioned at once.
Beyond cackled, "Of course not. I have no intentions of stealing a little girl, and even if I did, that would make things much more complicated. Heroes would be searching for us, wouldn't they? What I'm going for allows for a more stealthy approach to it all. With this little girl, this 'Chisaki' has been able to create Quirk-destroying bullets."
"Quirk-destroying... bullets?" Akui repeated. His confused expression then turned into one of a psychotic look. "Meaning... we'd have no need for the Guardian Dog!" he deduced.
"Precisely. Aurora will steal the bullets, while you deal with killing the dog," Beyond responded as he patted Akui on the head. "Though, somebody else will be joining you."
"Who?" Akui asked promptly, but his answer was brought to him immediately when he spotted the silhouette of something hanging from the ceiling. He breathed fire into the room to light it up, ridding the room of darkness. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw what it was.
"Y/N's greatest fear is spiders, you know," Beyond commented as the giant tarantula, with a woman's face seemingly fused into it, leapt down and landed next to him. "A normal-sized one terrifies him, so I'm sure he'll be petrified if he meets this one." He stroked its head.
"How...?" Akui wondered in surprise.
"I called a few old friends and combined their talents, and one of their Quirks, to create this specimen," Beyond informed him, his sinister grin growing. "A Quirk that allows the user to fuse two objects into one. As it turns out, that can include living beings too. So, I had them fuse a person with the tarantula. It took a long while, and the specimen almost died several times, so much so that I needed it monitored for every second, but it was a success."
"Why, sir? I don't... I don't need..." Akui stammered, flabbergasted by the sight. Anyone would. Well, others would be scared to death.
"Knowing the Guardian Dog, he's going to be surrounded by people even if we lure him out. So, the tarantula will deal with him, or at least distract him, and you'll rid those people of life. After that, he's yours."
"..."
"Don't worry, Akui. You're my strongest servant, after all. If it saves time, you can find a way to incapacitate them. All that matters in the end... on the day of the Shie Hassakai Raid...
