"You all have your costumes, right?" Aizawa asked the class. They were in a train station a few days after picking where they would be interning. The amount of people currently in the station was massive, but that wasn't exactly what Y/N was thinking about. I don't really have a hero costume...! Darn it! I'm so dead! He gazed nervously at his classmates, a silvery briefcase with different numbers on them in each of their hands. "Remember, you aren't allowed to wear them in public. Don't drop them or anything."
"Yessir!" Mina said a bit too enthusiastically, holding her briefcase in the air, a large smile on her face. The sight of her made Y/N feel inclined to smile.
"Speak clearly! It's 'yes, sir', Ashido."
"Yes, sir..." she corrected herself with far less enthusiasm, a pout on her face.
"Make sure you mind your manners with the heroes at your internships!" Aizawa instructed. Y/N personally would rather die than face his homeroom teacher's wrath at a failed instruction. "Off with you, now."
"Yes, sir!" everyone said together in response.
Y/N heard several murmurs of conversation among his classmates, as they separated. He noticed Midoriya going to talk to Iida, but didn't feel like joining in. Originally, he was planning to ask Midoriya about who he was going with, but he figured he could just text him.
Y/N looked over at his twin, who stood next to him, "Well, shall we go?"
"All right, but I'm following you," Carbon replied with a frown. Y/N gave one back. "Okay, look, I don't know the way! You do, so you're taking the lead on this one!"
He opened his mouth to respond, but paused after hearing a familiar voice. "Hey, Y/N!"
The boy turned around, seeing Mina approach him, "Do you need something?" He could already feel Carbon's eyes staring at the two, but determinedly avoided turning red in the face.
"Stay out of trouble, okay?" She placed a hand on his arm, which felt unusually comforting.
Y/N narrowed his eyes slightly, however. "It's not like I attract trouble or anything."
"Your Quirk sure does attract the wrong sort of crowd, though!" she said with a smile, but that one sentence made Y/N freeze on the spot. Her smile faltered. "Is something wrong?"
"Huh? Oh... Oh, nothing," he answered a bit too quickly, taking a couple of steps back. "I'll text you to confirm that I'm not in any sort of danger, okay?"
"If you are, then I'm always willing to help!" she replied, causing Y/N to question the sincerity behind her words. She seemed to have seen this on his face. "I promise I'll help you whenever you need it!"
He simply nodded at her, and turned away, walking over to the train he and Carbon would need to catch. Judging by the sound of the footsteps behind him, Carbon was right behind him.
"So..." Carbon began, a tone that undoubtedly meant a question approaching. "What was that about?"
'Oh look, you called it! Want a gold star for doing something only we will know about?'
Shut up...
"I'm fine," he said, walking a bit faster.
Carbon increased his pace as well to catch up, "I wasn't talking about how you're feeling... So you're on first name basis with her, huh?"
He suddenly stopped, glaring at Carbon, "S-Shut up!"
'S.I.M.P.'
Not you too!
