MARIA GROANED AS someone shook her awake. She grumbled and shoved her face in her pillow, annoyed at being awoken at such an early time in the morning. "Maria, you have to wake up!" A familiar voice said, she turned her head, seeing Enid. She groans and tries to go back to sleep but Enid doesn't let it go. "mARIA-!" She shouted, making Maria jump slightly. "wHAT!?" She shouted back, lifting her head from her pillow to glare at the blonde.
"We need to go eat breakfast we have class soon!" Enid said, a grin on her face. Maria sighs. "Fine fine give me 10 minutes." Maria replied, stretching and successfully cracking her back. Enid nods. Maria looks at her in confusion. "Wait-how did you get up here?" Maria asked. Enid grimaced. "I've been trying to climb up for about 5 minutes, Wednesday was watching me struggle." Enid said, pointing to the black haired girl. Who ignored them making them both huff.
Maria begrudgingly leaves the comfort of her bed. She runs a hand on her bed. "I'll miss you." She said, dramatically falling making Enid roll her eyes and laugh at her dramatics. Maria runs a hand through her hair and sighs. She jumps down from her platform, helping Edin down. She has a quick shower in the bathroom across the hall and gets changed into her Nevermore uniform she grimaces. "This uniform is ugly as fuck." She said to herself.
She looks at Wednesday, seeing she has a black uniform. Making Maria sulk. "How come you get a black uniform. This uniform is ugly." She said, gesturing to the blue uniform she's wearing. "I'm allergic to colours." Wednesday said. Maria looked confused. "Isn't black a colour?" She pondered.
Wednesday didn't answer making Maria huff. Enid walks over to Maria and throws an arm around her shoulder. "Oh come on it's not that bad." Enid said. Maria deadpanned. "This makes me want to jump of the top of the school. Wednesday can hang my mangled body parts." She said, pointing to Wednesday who nodded. "I would enjoy that." She said, making Enid give them weird looks. "O...Kay..?" She murmured before clapping her hands, taking her arm off Maria's shoulder.
"Alright! Let's go to breakfast." She said, skipping towards their dorm door. Maria sighs and looks at Wednesday. "Alright let's go." She said, jogging after Enid. "WAIT UP BLONDIE!" Maria shouted after Enid. Wednesday shook her head. 'Idiots..' she thought. After Maria and Wednesday managed to catch up to Enid. They engaged in a conversation. Mostly Enid and Maria but Wednesday cut in a few times, giving her opinion.
Wednesday got a lot of stares, some good some bad. Maria would glare at anyone who would look at Wednesday wrong, thinking the said girl wouldn't notice. But she did and she is a bit conflicted. 'Why is she glaring at these people who look at me?' Wednesday thought. Enid snaps her out of her thoughts by starting a new topic as they walk into the cafeteria.

Later in the day, Wednesday decided to try fencing someone. Maria tagged along with the excuse of, "I'm bored, you're cool let's hangout." Wednesday begrudgingly agreed and got dressed in a black fencing outfit. They walk down the halls and Maria asked for directions because Wednesday was too anti social for it. They eventually made it to the fencing gym and they entered, the clanging of swords and grunts fill the air as they walk through the door.
