MARIA WATCHES HER SCREEN, bewildered. She opened TikTok to find like 99+ notifications. She looks at her profile and her eyes widen seeing 75,000 new followers. "Okay I didn't expect to blow up this much." Maria mumbled, walking out of the dorm and to the games room.
She opens up her PC and logs in to Twitch and starts up OBS. She clicked 'Start Streaming' and put on her headset. After about after 5 minutes, hundreds off viewers join the stream. "Alright I know I said I would stream Next week. But like, I'm bored and I opened TikTok and found I have like 75k followers, which is shocking on how you guys even found my TikTok account." Maria said, leaning back in her chair.
"Have you seen the edits? What edits?" Maria asked as the viewer count hit 20,000. The chat speeds past and Maria reads some of them. "The edits of you. The edits of me? Ayo chat send me some through Instagram and we will react." Maria said, opening up Instagram on her PC. After about a minute, people start sending in Videos. Maria makes her screen visible on OBS and starts scrolling through the messages before clicking one.
The video shows the "Oh no, I hope I don't fall" meme before it transitions into a edit of Maria with her guitar. Maria widens her eyes. "Oh wow." She said, staring at the edit. She likes the video message and sends the fan a quick thanks with a 'xx' before finding another message.
It's a velocity edit of Maria fighting Ajax with a lightsaber, where she twisted mid air into her hand and launched herself upwards, and notices her shirt went up and it shows her abs and the sound is. 'We must stay focused brother, we must stay focused.' "I don't even know what to say to be honest." Maria said, saying 'Thanks xx' before clicking off the message and leaning back into her chair.
"Nah, nah I'm going in TikTok let's watch this." Maria said, linking her phone screen to OBS and streaming it, showing her home screen, which is a picture of her, Wednesday and Enid dancing in the snow. She clicks on TikTok and scrolls through TikTok, finding another edit of herself. She likes it and comments.
"Still shocking people make edits of me." Maria commented, scrolling again. "Should I make a TikTok?" Maria asked the viewers. She gets a bunch of confirmations and she nodded. "Alright, what sort of TikTok?" Maria asked, reading the fast chat. A $10 donation comes through.
"DraGonPlAyer201 said, I'll donate $150 if you get sturdy for a tiktok. Dang, 150? could just about afford a Freddo with that." Maria joked. "I'll snap my legs if I get sturdy." Maria laughed, dragging a hand through her hair. "Alright, I'll try get sturdy. What song?" She asked, looking at chat.
"Mickey Mouse Club House theme? Don't people break their toes doing that?" Maria asked, looking at her phone, searching it up. Immediately, the first one that comes up is a guy doing it in high heels. "What the fuck?!" Maria said in awe.
"HOW THE FUCK- you know what fuck it, chat I'm doing that. Get the funny edits ready." Maria said, quickly jogging out of her dorm and sneaking into Bianca's stealing a pair of high heels. She comes back and sits on her chair and she sighs with a grin, holding up a pair of knee length 10 inch high heels.
