MARIA GROANED AS SHE woke up, her hands chained above her head. "Maria?! Can you hear me?" Wednesday asked, frantically with her hands chained above her too. "I'm alright, where are we?" Maria asked with a raspy voice, feeling blood run down the side of her face, her vision clearing up, seeing they're in Crackstone's crypt.

Tyler walks up to them. "Kind of a déjà vu thing we got going on, huh?" Tyler said to Wednesday, making Maria confused. "You chained him up?" Maria asked. Wednesday nodded, a bit distorted. "Except I won't cry and whine like a child." Wednesday replied.

Tyler glared at her. "Tyler, go wait by the boat." Laurel's voice was heard behind the girls. "Yes.. listen to your master and be a good little Hyde." Maria spat, glaring at the boy. Tyler returns it, harshly barging his shoulder with hers, making her grunt. "I have to admit, that shape shifting stunt with Weems almost worked." Laurel said as Tyler left.

"It did. Larissa has gone to get help." Maria said, Laurel shook her head. "It would be too late for that, my sweet, sweet Maria." Laurel said, walking up to her and caressing her cheek. Maria jolts her head back, trying to evade the contact.

"But as my father always said, if you want to outsmart and outcast, you got to out-think em." Laurel said, roughly pushing away Maria's face making Maria grunt as Laurel started putting signal transmitters on top of the jars of dismembered body parts. "You know, we have roots that go all the way back to Joseph Crackstone." Laurel said to Wednesday.

"So you come from a line of psychotic killers too." Wednesday said, her tone blank. "Joseph Crackstone was a visionary, dedicated to protecting normies from outcasts until his life was cut short by your ancestor, Goody Addams. And then, to add insult to injury, they stole his land to build that abomination of a school." Laurel said, making Maria's eyes narrow in hatred.

Laurel walked up to them, leaning close to Maria's face. "You look like you have something to say." Laurel said, smirking.

"Not all outcasts are bad. You fear the unnatural abilities we have so you want to get rid of us. And don't you dare insult Nevermore. It's one of the greatest schools which accepted outcasts like me and Wednesday. Your scared. Your scared of what we can do, our power, our witt. You felt threatened by the outcasts existence. That makes you a coward.." Maria spat out, keeping eye contact with the crazy woman.

"I am no coward!" Obviously that hit a nerve, as Laurel slapped Maria, making her head turn and she spat out a bit off blood. "Don't touch her." Wednesday grit out. Laurel smirked and continued to place signal transmitters on the jars. "But, throughout the centuries, my family has remained commited to Crackstone's mission. My brother died serving that cause." Laurel said, making Maria's eyes narrow.
