Harry's POV

When Taylor and I stopped talking, I saw Celia leaving. What did we miss?

She said, "Bye guys!" and walked outside.

Where's Louis?

Soon, Louis came in. He had a hickey on his neck.

I was about to ask what happened when Taylor said, "I just realized."

"What?" I asked.

"I don't have any spare clothes."

Louis and I smiled at her.

Louis then offered, "I can take you shopping."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. I really don't mind."

"Yeah, he actually enjoys it," I added.

"Really?" Taylor asked curiously.

"Yeah," Louis admitted, clearly embarrassed, staring at his feet.

"Cool."

"Let's go now."

"Ok. What's the weather?"

I teased, "Warm since it's April. Also sunny."

"What? It's actually sunny. Wow."

Louis taunted, "Not that you'll be able to dress for it."

She blurted, "Wait, it's April?" I realized that this must've been because she was trapped for so long.

Then Louis and Taylor left soon after. I sat down on the couch, waiting for their arrival back, which, knowing them, won't be soon.

Louis' POV

We were shopping, almost finished in fact, when all of a sudden, I saw Eleanor. I wanted to leave, but Taylor was using the changing room, so I had to wait.

Eleanor walked over to me. "Hey, what's this?" I flinched at her question, as her hand ran over the spot on my neck where I'd gotten a hickey. I shivered from her light touch.

I refused to respond to her question.

"Have you got a girlfriend already?" she then asked.

"No," I admitted.

"Then who...?"

"Don't ask. I don't wanna talk about it." Certainly not with you.

"Ok. Sorry." She pulled her hand away.

Taylor came out, wearing the outfit she was trying out. "Is this ok?"

Eleanor replied, "Yeah it's perfect. It looks beautiful on you."

"Thanks," she said, going back in.

Eleanor said to me, "Well I hope you find someone that loves you for you and that you'll love back. You deserve it a lot."

I smiled sadly. "Thank you."

"Of course. I have to go now."

"Bye."

She left as Taylor came out in her original outfit, the clothes she was buying draped across her arm. We bought the clothes and went home.

Right before we went inside, Taylor said, "Thanks for everything."

"Of course, Tay. I'm your friend."

She smiled. "Eleanor's right, you know."

"About?"

"You deserve someone who loves you."

I smiled humbly, looking at the ground and feeling my cheeks burn. "Oh. Thank you."

"Of course."

We went inside. Taylor took the bags to her room.

Harry said, "How'd it go?"

"Great. Saw Eleanor," I told him offhandedly.

He seemed to detect that I wasn't happy to see her. "What happened?"

"She broke up with me last night."

"Why?"

"She fell in love with someone else."

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. You ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Good."

I smiled.

Harry then said, "What's taking Taylor so long?"

"Why don't you go check on her?"

"Ok. I'll be back soon." He left.

Harry's POV

I went to her room. I heard crying from inside the room, and my heart broke. I turned the doorknob and opened it quietly.

"Taylor?" I said softly.

She looked up at me. Tears ran down her face. But what caught me the most was that she looked... broken.

I walked over to her, sat down beside her, and pulled her into a hug. She cried into me. I rubbed her back up and down, trying to calm her down. After she calmed down, she pulled away.

I asked, "Taylor, what's wrong?"

"Everything," she admitted.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm broken. Irreparable."

"That's not true. I'll mend you," I promised.

"You can't possibly do that."

"Taylor, I can and I will. Have hope."

She looked conflicted. "You can try."

"I'll do it. I promise."

"By the way, how are you?"

"I'm fine. Don't change the subject. Could you maybe tell me why you think you're... broken?"

"It's about time I told you, yeah."

"Go on. I'm listening."

"Just a week after we broke up, I was kidnapped by a man named Devin. He hurt me. Especially when I cried. One time, I tried to escape, but I got caught, so he did worse. I'm lucky I was able to get out."

"Whoa. Oh my god, I feel so bad for you. You shouldn't have had to deal with that. I'm sorry."

"It's ok."

"I hope you know that you're beautiful. Don't let him make you feel otherwise. Got it?"

She smiled her beautiful smile. "Yeah. You should take your own advice."

I smiled at her for changing the topic again. "You're right. Though a little off topic."

She chuckled cutely. "I like it. It's fun."

I smiled at her adorableness. "Maybe for you it is. I have to be the one to get us back on topic."

She bantered, "No you don't."

I chuckled.
