HYUNJIN
Being away from Bella for a week was enough to nearly send me crazy.
A week without her smile, her laughter, her hugs, her... kisses.
I missed her so much that I actually became irritable, I felt like I was a drug addict at rehab.
She's like a drug and I'm addicted.
I know being without someone for a week and going crazy is pathetic, I feel pathetic. But I've never been so attached to someone I've not known for long before. I don't know what it is, why I'm so attached, but I know I don't want whatever we have to end soon.
After our call ended, I instantly rang Jeongin. I needed advice, and my best friend is the perfect therapist it seems.
"You forgot to save Zelda again?" is what he said when he answered on the first ring. I sighed heavily, rolling my eyes while debating whether or not I should speak to him about this.
I decided to tell him anyway, ignoring his squeals of excitement, and asking for help. He gave me some advice, saying I should get to know her more. I agreed, I don't really know much about Bella when I think about it.
I know she likes art, she grew up in Jeonju, her mother owns a tteokbokki stand, she's an only child, she has a pet cat, her favourite animal is a butterfly, and her favourite Disney film is The Lion King.
All these just add up to the reasons why I like her so much, why I love being around her. So, that's why when I picked her up from the train station, I walked us back to her house we can order something to eat since she'd rather stay in.
I don't mind though, I'd rather stay in than go out. Plus, I get to see Luna again.
Most of the journey to her apartment was comfortable silence, we spoke here and there, but I think we were just getting used to being in each others presence again. It felt like there was no need to talk, like we just need to be next to each other.
When we eventually get to her apartment, I watch her unlock her door and walk through first, giving me a gentle smile as I follow her.
Looking around her apartment, I soon spot Luna on the sofa, cuddling a blanket. Aw.
"What food would you like to order?" Bella asks me, placing her bags near the front door whilst taking her shoes and coat off. I copy her, taking my beanie off and ruffling my hair.
I only wear my beanies when it's cold outside now, Bella's taught me to like my hair. I take care of it so I might as well show it off.
"Uhh, pizza?" I suggest.
Bella grins, walking over to her kitchen as she takes her phone out of her pocket of her jeans. "You read my mind."
I smile at her comment, my stomach doing flips at the fact that we're having a date. I turn around quickly, heading for the sofa to hide the pink blush rising on my cheeks.
"Drink?" I hear her call from the kitchen and I ask for water, my throat suddenly dry from nerves.
I'm able to calm down when I sit next to Luna, stoking her fluffy, black fur. The cat responds, lifting her head to lay it on my thigh which makes me grin.
