BELLA

I have never cleaned so fast in my life.

As I had no idea Ryujin was going to spring this double 'date' idea on me so randomly, my apartment was not looking fabulous. I had dishes in the sink needing to be cleaned, pillows and blankets on the floor in my living area, the floor not mopped, and my bedroom a complete mess - clothes, shoes, makeup scattered all over the floor. 

I'm kind of embarrassed. Especially because Jia saw it all.

I was half asleep, it was 1 am, and there was a chance of her being pregnant. The state of my apartment was the last thing on my mind.

When I got home from school, I audibly gasped when I walked through the door and instantly got to cleaning. I washed the dishes at lightening speed and mopped the floor which Luna absolutely hated as she kept hissing at the mop.

I made the living area more cozy, threw the blankets that were lying on the floor in the wash basket and grabbed some fresh and much cosier ones out of the cupboard. I lit some candles to make the room smell delicious and also give it more of a comforting vibe.

I also made sure to clean my room. Even if all I did was throw my clothes into my wardrobe, made my bed, dust, and vacuum, it looks a lot better than it did before.

By the time I finished, I only had an hour before Hyunjin would arrive. The time Ryujin suggested was around 7 o'clock so I told Hyunjin to come for half past 6 as I wanted him to get comfortable and relax before meeting someone new.

I also really just couldn't wait to see him.

Which leads me to now, quickly getting ready after a thirty minute 'everything' shower. Hyunjin should be arriving soon which is why I'm getting dressed at the speed of light. I've gone for something comfortable but still cute; a pair of grey, plaid pyjama trousers and a white vest top with lace trimming.

I hope no one is dressing up, otherwise I'll be embarrassed. I am doing my makeup though, so I still look presentable and not like I just got out of bed.

To my expectations, I hear a few knocks on my front door a moment later. I quickly finish applying my makeup, my concealer covering up my dark circles that I have acquired from the lack of sleep I've gotten, and rush to my front door.

When I open the door, I'm faced with a smiling Hyunjin dressed in a black hoodie and black sweatpants which makes me feel less underdressed. He's left his hair natural, down and not styled which makes him look effortless. His arms are behind his back which makes me curious but he distracts me when he walks forward and places a kiss on my cheek.

"Hi, pretty girl," he says lowly near my ear and I bite my lip to hide my shy smile from the nickname. I'll never get used to him saying that.

"Hi," I mumble back with a smile and close the door behind him.

Hyunjin smiles at my reaction and finally brings his hands forward which allows me to see what's in his hands.

Tulips.

I lightly gasp and look up at him to see he's looking all shy now, a slight blush to his cheeks and an embarrassed expression displaying on his features.
