"It's my turn to choose the movie!" Mina exclaimed with enthusiasm, her words muffled by a mouthful of popcorn.

Anticipating Mina's love for romance, Kai couldn't help but emit an exasperated sigh.

Jack, on the other hand, mustered a gentle smile as Mina searched their collection of DVDs.

"Aha! Got it!" Mina declared with elation, brandishing a DVD copy of the renowned film, 'The Bodyguard.'

Kai rolled his eyes, and Mina excitedly put the film on, bundling herself up in a blanket and sitting on the couch.

Kai began groaning which was met by an nudge from Jack.

"Cmon man! It's Whitney! Show some respect!" Jack implored, a hint of annoyance coloring his tone.

Kai responded with an eye roll, and Mina, undeterred, promptly set the film in motion, cocooning herself in a cozy blanket as she settled onto the couch.

Jack, wearing knee-high socks and shorts, cracked open a can of soda, offering one to Mina.

As the movie unfolded, Mina's eyes sparkled with excitement, especially during the pivotal reunion scene.

Kai annoyingly consoled himself with two red licorice vines, nursing his disappointment that it wasn't his turn to choose the movie.

Meanwhile, Jack stood on the coffee table, passionately singing along to "I Will Always Love You."

Mina joined in, her hand gently placed on Kai's chest, her eyes brimming with affectionate hope that he would not reject her subtle action.

Kai reciprocated with a warm smile, before regaining his footing and standing up, joining in the musical revelry.

Mina's smile remained though a tinge of disappointment burst through her heart as Kai had not reciprocated the gesture.

In the end, they shared laughter as the song concluded, savoring the happiness and cherished moments they had spent together.

"Alright y'all I'll see you soon, I'm tryna be in Denise's bed before 12!" Jack said smirking.

Kai chuckled, playfully pushing Jack out of the house in before Mina spoke.

"He's never gonna stop!," Mina remarked, a smile gracing her face as she set about tidying up.

Kai concurred with a nod, offering his assistance in the cleaning process.

Upon completing their chores, they settled onto the couch, treating themselves to hot chocolate as a well-deserved reward for their efforts.

Kai couldn't help but smile as he watched Mina's oversized mug nearly engulf her face, but soon, his gaze shifted to the window, and he sighed.

Concerned, Mina turned to him and asked about the source of his distress.

"I just want to see Leonardo behind bars. He's taken so many lives; it's just not fair," Kai huffed in frustration.

Mina nodded empathetically, soothingly rubbing Kai's arm for comfort.
