The way Aurora felt was like no other.

She stared at the positive pregnancy test almost a million times, hoping and praying her eyes were just blurry.

Aurora didn't know what to think. She was still engaged to Leonardo, something her parents were extremely thrilled about which only made the guilt intensify.

All it took was one night to fuck someone's life up.

Though Aurora really wanted to make her parents proud by marrying Leonardo, she just couldn't help but smile at the positive test.

She was pregnant!

After Aurora's last miscarriage, she prayed for another child and while it didn't seem like the right time, Aurora was truly happy to be blessed with another chance.

Also.....

Aurora had taken a liking to Emiliano.

She was attracted to him just as much as he was attracted to her.

Even though Emiliano was just shot and Leonardo was still upset at her, Aurora still wanted to tell Emiliano.

She didn't know how to break the engagement off since her parents and Salvatore arranged it, but hoped it would happen soon.

Because, Aurora wanted the child.

And Emiliano.

It was so hard to stay away from him all this time, and Aurora knew what she had to do.

As she entered the room to visit Emiliano with Leonardo, Aurora noticed him stare at her with admiration.

She watched the family banter back and forth as they spoke about Aliyah, and Aurora sat in her seat in silence, hoping they'd all leave soon so she could talk to Emiliano alone.

"Who do you think it is, papa?" Salvatore asked curiously.

Alessandro took a deep breath and looked at Leonardo straight in the eyes before replying.

"That girl Leonardo has been hanging out with. Aliyah."

Gasps were heard throughout the room which only increased the impending tensions that built up since the shooting.

"No! That's bullshit! Aliyah is nothing but a event coordinator! Stop finding reasons to hurt people, Nonno!" Leonardo said angrily.

Salvatore rose a brow as Leonardo defended Mina, while Alessandro nodded in understanding.

Lucia shook her head multiple times and pleaded her papa to stop looking for trouble. Alessandro angrily walked out of the room as the family argued, and the rest followed.

Aurora's eyes widened as she realized her and Emiliano were finally alone.

"E-emiliano! How are you feeling?" Aurora said nervously.

Emiliano shrugged as Aurora spoke since the tension between them only increased, making it even harder for them to communicate.

"I uhm, yeah! I'm okay! How are you?" Emiliano replied.

"Okay. I'm okay too! But uhm, I want to talk to you. It's about something important! Do you mind if I lock the door when I say it? I just don't want anyone to know." Aurora asked curiously.

Emiliano quickly nodded and did a small prayer that he could control himself and not kiss Aurora in the time they were alone.

As Aurora went to shut the door Leonardo ran in, saying one thing.
