its the day of the festival! we dont have lessons today, as everyone is getting ready for the harvest festival. bianca helps me pick out an outfit (you guys can create an outfit in ur head) and we are ready to go. the whole school is buzzing with excitement, and we end up leaving at around 4pm. as it is autumn, it is already dark, so the festival lights can be seen from a mile away.
once we arrive, me and bianca get off the bus. we choose to go on the ferris wheel first, and enjoy the view from the very top. "oh wow look theres wednesday!" i say, pointing down at a small blob. "whos she with?" bianca asks. its what im wondering too. once the ride has finished, we get off and explore some more. in the rush of the moment, i completely forget about rowan. i try to come up with an excuse to leave bianca to find rowan, when a group of three guys comes running towards us, holding weapons. they push through the crowd, and everyone runs back, frightened, and i lose bianca. out of the corner of my eye, i see a figure run form wednesday, and realise its rowan. of course. wednesday. i am about to go and confront him, when i see some hideous beast running towards him. shit shit shit. i break into a run, running as fast as my legs can take me, but i am too late. the monster takes a hold of rowan. i feel something indescrible, and let out the worst scream i have ever heard. everything goes black.
