Sophia."Hey lovey assistant!"
I brought my attention up from my computer, the words coming out in a womanly voice that definitely wasn't Maddox's, and he was the only one who called me that. I smiled, finding who was heading my way. "Don't you look stunning." I complimented, sending off the email I was working on before giving Lily my full attention. It wasn't hard to do, she was gorgeous, stylish and had this destructive hint to her fierce personality that made you think twice before crossing her.
I'm aware of her bitchy attitude everyone likes to comment on. But I've never gotten that vibe from her. I've always gotten this direct energy from her, like a loaded gun, not needing a man to save her and tough enough to be a lethal kind of beauty vibe. A diamond beauty.
She strolled towards me, a bounce in her step that screamed assurance, spunk, and power. Her worn blue jeans hugged her perfectly, showing off the lean legs and curved hips of hers. The pants ran straight down, flaring off at the ankles. A white lace top wrapped around her front, defining her shoulders and in the back I can tell it was open and just tied by string. Around her neck was a black snake choker necklace that circled around her smooth skin before crawling down her chest.
The girl knew how to make an entrance, and the click of her chunky white heels were the call. "Lily, how do you not have a boyfriend?" I teased. The girl was trouble to any man who set his sights on her. She knew it too, and made herself look that damn good. Even I was mesmerized by her.
She winked at me. "I have plenty." she answered, pausing at the counter and leaning on both of her elbows.I laughed. "They knew that?"
"Why bother telling them? I'm not keeping them around long enough for it to matter. They all bore me eventually anyway."
Fair point.
I laughed, liking her even more. The girl screamed woman power, and I loved it. I know that Maddox has mentioned in passing that not everyone can handle Lily's presence, but I found her a refreshing breath of air. The girl knew what she wanted, and what was wrong with that? Nothing in her way would stop her, and I respect that. I know that she's first to step into fire, and I had a feeling she would command it within seconds. "Here to see you brother?" I asked, glancing at the clock. Maddox should have a bit of time before anything comes up.
A grin spread across her sharp face, spelling misfit and rounding her cheeks. "I much rather spend the day with his lovely assistant." she answered.
I chuckled. "I doubt your brother would be happy to hear that.""He'll get over it." she replied, pushing away from the counter and rounding to my desk, "Come on, we are going shopping."
