They had made it outside of the town they had been in and were in a countryside area when the song Lights by Ellie Goulding came on.

Eileen seemed very excited about this song. So much so that she nearly gave James a heart attack.

"Woah, you really love this song, don't you?" James asked as he focused on the road. Eileen nodded happily.

"Yeah, this is one of my favorites." Eileen said as she swayed to the music. "I just love the feel of the song."

James listened to the song and couldn't help but feel a certain feeling to this song that he hadn't felt before. The only way he could sum up the feeling was with one word: lights. He could see lights shining inside of his mind whenever the chorus came on. Hell, even the pre chorus exposed the vibes to him.

"Lights." James said and Eileen nodded.

"Yep." Eileen said and the rest was silent as they listened and waited for the song to end. When the song had finally reached its coda, they had made it a little bit closer to their destination. Just a little bit closer, not too much, just a little bit.

James focused on the road as Eileen sat looking out the window as the trees, fields and other things had seemed to pass the two of them by at super speed. Light speed. James decided to tell Eileen about the dream he had tried to tell Michelle the day his father died.

"When my father died, I had a dream. A dream that I believe predicted it." James said. Eileen looked over at him in interest.

"Well, go ahead and tell it." She said to him.

"I was in some sort of waiting room and all around me were doors. They were all made of mahogany. I walked up to one and opened it. Inside was a black horse. It was wearing a name tag that read FEAR. There was this demon thing with a whip just going to town on this horse. Chunks flew everywhere. I closed that door and opened the next one. Inside, I saw my mother sitting next to the dying body of my father. She was ripping him apart and painting her face with the blood. And then I saw you standing in your wedding dress, holding a fetus that was screaming so wretchedly. There was a hole in your stomach where the fetus had come out. The fetus was still in possession of its imbilical cord which happened to be a part of your intestines. And you were saying the quotes on those index cards I got. I shut that door and opened another to which an ocean of blood came before me and then I woke up." James said. He looked over at Eileen who was shocked but also intrigued by the ominous and arcane dream that James had just related to her. "Crazy huh."

"Very." Eileen said and she shook her head.

"I just don't understand your part in the story. I hope you don't have a miscarriage." James said. Eileen put her hand on James' shoulder.

"Let's not think about that. Let's just go on home and accept the things that will be." Eileen said. James nodded and he put his focus back on the road as the sound of Come Here by Kath Bloom played on the radio.

Just a little bit closer to home. Just a little bit closer.
