James took a taxi ride home as he had left the car at the house for Eileen. He paid the taxi driver and got out. He got his suitcase with him and made his way to the steps until all of a sudden he stopped.
Infront of him was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life. The woman he was proud to call his wife. He could feel burning embers writhing inside of his being as he stood in her presence and realized that he had almost forgotten how beautiful she was after he left.
"Well, hello Mr. Maxwell." She said with a smile. James blushed excessively and smiled.
"Hello, Mrs. Maxwell." He replied back and the two of them ran towards each other.
They embraced with a kiss and James remembered another reason why he was happy, besides seeing his princess. He was going to be a father.
James bent down until he was in speaking range of her stomach and just rubbed it. The two smiled.
"Well, little fella. I can't wait until you finally get to see the family you are a part of now." He told the stomach. Eileen chuckled. He looked at her and smiled.
James then picked up his suitcase and the two made their way into the house.
Megan was standing on the porch watching them and James greeted her.
"How are you doing, Megan?" James asked.
"I'm doing well. Congratulations." She replied. James blushed.
"Thanks, I appreciate that." James said and the two parted ways. But before the three of them made it into the house, James looked into the sky and saw a dove fly over them. And all James could think of was happy moments. Happy times. Happy days. Happy memories.
