3. Gaeun🍃

I was at my locker at the end of the day gathering my books that I had to bring home with me.

I silently died as I put in about seven different subjects. I have nine classes a day and here we are with seven of those nine subjects with work due for tomorrow.

They must think I have no life.

Like god forbid you went outside and got killed so stay inside and suffer maths instead.

I shoved in my final books before closing my locker door. I picked up my bag and already felt like my back was in danger of breaking.

"Jisung!" I heard my name being called.

I turned around and saw Gaeun walking over to me. Her hair was wavy and her uniform looked as neat as it always had.

"How are you!" She smiled. "I haven't seen you today" I saw that she was just about ready to leave as well so without asking we both walked together.

"I'm good, just thinking about sueing the school for... Everything" I replied. Gaeun let out a laugh "Please do" She said "I'd totally back you up on that"

I hummed "I don't know how you carry such a small bag around" I took notice of her bag. She laughed again "I make it work I suppose" she shrugged.

We walked down the stairs to the main hallway.

"So how was mid term?" She asked. I hummed "It was fine" It wasn't.

"Cool! What did you do?"

"Not much"

"Oh"

"What about you?" I asked diverting the topic off of me. Gaeun smiled "Well I went to some Halloween parties and babysitted my little brother" she spoke.

I let out a small 'oh' after hearing about her little brother. "How is Gahyun?" I asked. Gaeun rolled her eyes "Annoying" She replied.

"Aw come on, Gahyun is adorable" I protested. She nudged me slightly "Oh yeah? Come live with him then"

"Nah, that would mean I'd have to live with you too" I teased. She scoffed and lightly punched my arm.

We got to the door where I saw Hyunjin, Jeongin and Seungmin standing around waiting for me.

Hyunjin looked over and saw Gaeun walking beside me. He gave me a grin and I immediately sighed knowing what he was thinking.

"I'll have you know I am a delight to live with" Gaeun folded her arms. I hummed not interested anymore. "I'm sure you are"

"Hello you two" Hyunjin cut in. Gaeun gave a small smile and waved "Hey!" she replied.

I stayed quiet. "Care to introduce us to your friend Jisung?" Hyunjin asked with a grin. I knew what he was playing at and I didn't like it.

"This is Gaeun" I introduced her. Jeongin hummed "I'm Jeongin" He held out his hand for her to shake. She Gasped excitedly "Oh! Aren't you that Criesonnian guy?" She asked. He retracted his hand. "Yep... That's me...."

"Hi I'm Seungmin" Seungmin quickly introduced. Gaeun smiled and shook his hand. Don't ask me why they were being so formal with shaking hands and stuff like that.

I couldn't tell you why.

"And I'm Hyunjin!" He threw his arm around her "So how long have you known each other?" He asked. I rolled my eyes "Stop interrogating her"

"No, you did that to me earlier" Hyunjin looked at me quickly. Gaeun glanced at me "Interrogated? For what?"

"Long story" I managed to reply. Hyunjin and Gaeun ended up talking to each other till our bus came.

"Our carriage is here once again" Hyunjin announced. "Thanks for the heads up" Seungmin rolled his eyes. Hyunjin shoved him slightly.

Gaeun laughed at the pair. "Hey Ji" She turned to me. I hummed "Yeah?"

"It's been a while since we hung out, wanna meet up sometime?" She asked. I nodded my head "Yeah sure" I agreed. Gaeun smiled "Cool, I'll see you tomorrow then!"

I waved her off before getting on the bus. The bus driver gave me a look "You finally done with your girlfriend?" He asked.

"She's not my-" I was cut off by him driving. I went flying down the aisle of the bus before flinging myself into a seat beside Jeongin.

He laughed at me. "Did the bus driver call Gaeun your girlfriend?" He asked. I nodded "He got the wrong idea clearly"

"She likes you" He said. I furrowed my brows "What?" I asked. Jeongin laughed again. "Now I understand why you're not smart"

"Jeongin!"

"Sorry! But when she was talking to Hyunjin she was constantly looking at you for a reaction" he explained. I gave a look of confusion "How do you know that?"

"I have a sister, she tells me everything" He replied. I nodded my head "Oh I see"

"So... Do you like her?" He asked. I hesitated to reply. Gaeun was really nice and really pretty. I've known her since I was five and well that's pretty much the perfect scenario for a couple to get together. A lot of people thought we were because of how close we were.

But.. I didn't like her that way.

"No... I don't" Jeongin hummed at this. "That's fine.. I figured" He laughed. He leaned in a little. "But Hyunjin swears you do"

I glanced back a little and saw Hyunjin sleeping beside Seungmin who had a book in his hand. "Seriously?" I asked.

Jeongin hummed as I looked back at him. "He's pushy" He mumbled. "That's not news to me" I replied.

For the rest of the ride home I just listened into the radio which was as always depressing as the next day. Some dope banging on and on about the violence happening around our town.

Stupid Criesonnians.
