I ended up bringing Minho to one of my favourite cafés.This was on the Velorean side of the town obviously. Everyone knew everyone so it must have felt intimidating for Minho.
Everyone stared at him when we walked into the café.
He paid no mind to it but I could sense he was slightly uncomfortable by it at the same time.
"Sorry, I forgot" I mumbled. "We can leave-"
"No" he pulled me up to the till. "Hello" Minho smiled at the cashier who looked at him oddly.
The guy looked at me "Hi Jisung!" He smiled. "The usual?" He asked. I nodded "Please Dojae" I replied.
"And who's your friend?" He asked with a soft smile. "Oh this is Minho" I nudged him. "He moved here from the west side"
Minho looked at me, probably shocked because the west side was the most Velorean populated part of the empire.
Even Dojae smiled brightly "Wow! You must life comfortably" He smiled. "What can I get you?" he asked.
Minho told him his order and pulled out his wallet. "I can get it" I smiled and stopped him but he insisted "No no, you've already helped me" he winked.
I pouted as he handed Dojae money. Dojae gave me a little look of amusement. "He's different to Hyunjin" he chuckled.
"Yeah he is" I laughed lightly. "Must be a westside thing" I added.
Dojae laughed "I'll drop those drinks down to you in a moment, take a seat"
We then went to find a seat in the back of the café. Once we sat down Minho shivered "West Side? Really?" he asked.
I shrugged "Well it wasn't like I was going to say you were Criesonian was I?" Minho sighed "Imagine me being from the west side" he laughed.
I hummed plainly "That would be terrible" I rolled my eyes. He stopped laughing and looked at me a bit apologetically.
"Sorry" He spoke. I rose a brow "For?"
"I keep forgetting you're Velorean" he smiled sadly. I shrugged "Then forget about it"
I wanted to test myself now. See if I really might like Minho like Jihwan said.
"When I'm with you, I'm not Velorean" I simply put. It might not be as big as you'd assume but it was.
Claiming you wouldn't be from the empire you were from to somone clearly from the opposite was foreign.
Minho stared at me stunned. "You seriously..." he didn't even finish his sentence he was that surprised.
"Yeah" I shrugged "I mean what I say" I looked down at my hands as he stare became a bit too intense.
"Well, I think the same" He chuckled. I let out a breath I seemed to have held in. "I wouldn't be a great OCA member would I?" he laughed.
I ended up laughing as well. "Yeah, you really wouldn't"
"Jisung that was where you were meant to hype me up and say you'd be great"
"I'm not going to lie to you" I rolled my eyes.
Dojae came over with our drinks just as Minho was about to go off on me. "And here you are" he smiled. "Anything else for you guys?"
We both shook our heads. "No, it's fine" I smiled. Minho nodded "All good here"
"Enjoy!" Dojae walked off.
Minho looked at the coffee in front of him and gasped a little. "Wow" He said. "The drawing on the top is perfect"
I looked at it and saw a cute oat shaped drawing on the coffee. "Their coffee here is so good" I said. "I always come here"
