37. All I Wanted To Do Was Cry🍃

I glanced at the two soldiers.

I looked back at Jihwan.

"Well um" I let out a sigh. "After you got arrested.." My voice got extra quiet.

"I kinda started in the..." I drew VA on the table with my finger. Jihwan's eyes widened. He looked up at me with a serious look.

"You started there?" He never got rid of his stare. "You said you never would" He spoke. "I was angry" I stated.

He sighed lightly "Mom and dad know?" he asked and I nodded. "They aren't happy about it so we never talk about it"

"I work with Yejoon" I told him. Jihwan's eyes looked down "Yejoon" he smiled a little before looking back up at me "How is Yejoon?"

"As great as he always was" I replied. "We're like best friends now" Jihwan nodded his head "That's cool.. You know I hear about all the stuff going on out there"

He glanced at the soldiers "Is it true that there was like 19 bombs that went off the other day?" He asked. I nodded my head.

"What?" He then looked at the soldiers. They were eyeing him now. "I'm only asking him about it" He shrugged.

"You already know what happened that day" One of them spoke in response. "You lot don't tell me details" Jihwan replied.

"You don't need details" The other spoke. Jihwan rolled his eyes.

"You're a VA member, you know what happens without details" Soldier Lee spat.

Jihwan clicked his fingers and made finger guns at him as I grabbed hold of the fact they found out Jihwan was a VA member.

"You know me well Minhyuk!" He smiled.

I turned to him. "How do they know?" I asked shocked. Jihwan's smile fell slightly again "Oh they found more information on me after I was arrested"

"And we weren't told!?" I exclaimed. He sighed "I told them not to, you know how mom is"

That's right. She probably would have lost her mind if she found out her son was never getting out of jail.

Jihwan leaned forward. "It's kinda stupid though, keeping us all in here" He chuckled lightly. I furrowed my brows.

"Why arrest like minded people in the same place?" He grinned. "All my friends here are part of the VA" he leaned back again.

"Seriously?" I asked a bit worried. He nodded "It's boring though, making plans that go nowhere" He sighed. "But seriously you never realise how stupid Criesonians are till you get in here"

He said that loudly for the soldiers to hear. "They're not all that bad" I replied.

Jihwan furrowed his brows. "Sorry? Jisung you just told me-"

"I know that but not all of them are bad" I thought of Minho, Chan, Changbin and even Felix.

Minho swore he wasn't mean he just had a rough exterior. Plus they even cuddle too so obviously Felix can't be that bad.

Jihwan stared at me with an odd look. He couldn't understand me.

"Jisung, kindly what the fuck are you thinking?" he asked. "Fucks sake I can't even fold my arms" he sighed slamming the cuffs on the table.

I jumped slightly. "Well that's where my question for you comes in" I sighed.

"I don't know if I want to do the job anymore" I gulped back as I watched his face go completely emotionless.

He went dead silent it was almost scary. He looked down at the table and took in a breath.

I expected him to tell me to stay.
