Atsumu left Akaashi and Kenma at his hideout, and told them to lay low and keep the lights off just in case the train had stopped and the mafia was out searching for them.
He assured them that he'd be back soon to take them to the big base where they could be protected properly.
While they were safe and sound in the assassin's hideout, Atsumu raced off on his Yamaha to get Kiyoomi.
He pulled up to the address he'd overheard from two of the bartenders at that club, Passion. He was originally sceptical about whether it was the right address or not, but when he pulled up and saw Kiyoomi's black Audi R8 parked outside of the building, he knew he was in the right place.
Atsumu pulled off his helmet, peering up at the building through the blood-streaked lenses of his mask which he'd hastily wiped. It was a similar case for his arms, with dried blood streaking across his skin.
Atsumu fastened his bike helmet to the bike itself and slipped the keys into his tactical belt with the ammunition stash for his Desert Eagle handgun, which he'd retrieved from Akaashi, and his Barret M82 sniper rifle.Atsumu knew it was most likely a bad idea to waltz into the building as if he didn't just massacre almost thirty of their members in just a day, but he couldn't bring himself to actually care when the muscles of his abdomen spasmed in pain.
He pushed through the pain of his bruised kidney and walked through the doors into the building. The building itself looked like a massive office block with tinted glass windows that acted as a mirror to the outside world, and had no care for greenery or plants.
Atsumu walked right in, taking out the guards like the stealth master he was and up into the stairwell where he thanked his intense stamina for carrying him through the ten-storey climb.
Luckily, it was well into the evening at that point, so he could take out all of the security without being seen and causing a commotion.
Atsumu walked right up to the big double doors at the end of the wide corridor on the tenth floor. He assumed this was the boss's office, simply because his infra-red vision showed two people inside and two rapidly cooling humanoid masses lying on the floor.
He switched the infra-red off and walked up to the door.
Atsumu hummed the chorus of Him & I by G-Eazy and Halsey as he casually pushed the door open and strolled into the room.
"Ya get him yet, Kiyoomi?" He asked as he walked in on exactly what he'd expected to see.
Kiyoomi was standing with a gun in one of in his hands, pointed at the boss who was standing on the other side of the desk. The boss himself was also holding a gun pointed at Kiyoomi with both hands, but his eyes were manic unlike the icy calm of Kiyoomi's dark forest green ones that Atsumu loved so much. Atsumu quickly realized that the two cooling humanoid masses on the floor were the boss's personal bodyguards, now crumpled to the floor with bullet holes right between the eyes.
Atsumu stopped right next to Kiyoomi, who chuckled, "Just about, Vulpes," he answered, "You have perfect timing, actually. Want to watch me paint the walls with this guy's blood?" He asked with a grin.
"Gladly!" Atsumu answered before he pulled up a chair from the desk and sat off to the side.
The boss looked at Atsumu with widened eyes, "Vulpes?!"
Atsumu smiled behind the mask and raised his hand to wiggle his fingers in a wave at the boss, "Hi~" He said.
The boss looked like he was at a loss for words as he stared at Atsumu, "How?! You were captured!"
Atsumu snorted and Kiyoomi smirked, "Did you really think twenty armed guards was enough to take down the city's greatest assassin??" Kiyoomi asked in disbelief.
Atsumu giggled, "It was planned~" He added with a sing-song voice.
"B-but you were shot! You were injured!" The boss shouted.
Kiyoomi's eyes darted worriedly to Atsumu, who met his gaze and only nodded slightly to confirm before he casually took a kunai from his belt and began half-hazardly picking the dried blood from beneath his nails.
"A little old injury's not gonna stop me," Atsumu said sweetly before he looked up, the golden-yellow eyes of his mask boring holes into the boss's demeanor, "I mean, look what I did to all of yer extra security!"
Atsumu giggled as he lifted his arms to show the streaks of blood that decorated them while Kiyoomi watched proudly.
With Kiyoomi's attention on Atsumu, the panicked boss took the chance to shoot, but he didn't expect a kunai dagger to collide with the bullet mid-air and slam it into the wall opposite where to the assassin was sitting.
"Damn, shootin' durin' our lovely conversation? That's real low," Atsumu teased.
Kiyoomi smirked, "Thanks for the save, Vulpes," he said.
The boss looked between them, his hands trembling so much that the gun in his hands was shaking as well.
"W-whatever he's paying you, I can pay more!! I swear, I can pay double the amount!" He pleaded desperately, now scared.
Atsumu tilted his head to the side and stood up from his seat, casually making his way over to Kiyoomi.
"Mm? Isn't that an amazin' deal, Kiyoomi?" He asked sweetly, "Payin' me double what ya are?"
Kiyoomi smiled angrily, "Careful, Love, or I'm going to get jealous..."
Atsumu giggled, "I'd kiss ya right now if there weren't cameras in here," he said as Kiyoomi hooked an arm around his waist to pull him into his side.
Kiyoomi just silently aimed his 44-Magnum up at the cameras and shot them, one by one, "No more cameras in here anymore," he said hopefully.
Atsumu laughed, "What 'bout our murderous audience?" He asked turning to the boss who looked like he might wet his pants any second.
"'Love'?" He echoed, "'Kiss'? You're-" He gulped, "You're dating??!"
Kiyoomi smiled and Atsumu unclipped his mask, taking it off while he brought down his hood to reveal soft platinum blonde hair, cold honey-brown eyes, and a sweet smile, "'Course!" He answered before his expression became grim, "Ya hurt mine an' my boyfriend's family... I'd never work for ya," he said lowly.
Kiyoomi smiled and looked down at Atsumu, "Thanks, Love."
"Always!" Atsumu smiled and brought his hands up to cup Kiyoomi's cheeks, standing up on the tips of his toes.
He whispered against Kiyoomi's lips, "Now, kill that bastard," he commanded right before he pulled Kiyoomi down into a rough kiss.
Kiyoomi smirked against his lips and pulled the trigger, the suppressed shot sunk into the flesh between the boss's eyes and he crumpled to the floor with his blood and brain matter splattered across the wall.
The last image the boss ever saw was of Sakusa Kiyoomi, the leader of the most powerful mafia in the city, and Vulpes, the most dangerous assassin in the city, sharing a loving kiss after they'd successfully tricked him and tore his plans apart. What a sight.
Atsumu pulled away from the kiss, breathless, "I love ya so much, Omi-kun," he said between deep breaths.
Kiyoomi smiled, "Love you more, Atsu."
