None Expect Death Except Death Himself

Katars in hand, a shadow advanced on the closest security guard. Whipping through the smoke with his mask's eyes gleaming a golden-yellow. He fought like a demon, as if the pain of his bruised kidney offered no hindrance to his bloodlust.

The first guard earned his death through an uppercut with a katar dagger that went right through the bottom of his jaw and through his skull.

The blade was drawn out of his chin and the assailant charged another security guard, this one earning a right hook with a katar dagger going right through her left temple.

The next guard's feet were swept out from under him by a black and gold Nike sneaker, and crashed to the floor, right before a katar dagger was thrust though his heart, backed with the force of a punch.

Glowing golden-yellow eyes set into a dark featureless black and gold mask glaring at him through swirling black smoke would be the last thing that security guard saw before his life was snuffed out.

The fourth security guard's Achilles tendons were sliced at the heel by a katar dagger right before a crashing weight knocked them down, face-first, onto the floor of the train car, and a katar dagger was sunk into the back of their skull.

The weight lifted off the fourth guard right as the fifth was slashed across the stomach with a katar dagger. She tumbled to the floor in pain and screamed when a shadow leapt through the smoke. The fifth earned her death choking on a dagger.

Blood splattered across the train car as a dagger was sliced in a wide arc through the sixth guard's spinal chord, right at his lower back. He crumpled to the floor and a dagger was driven into the base of his skull.

The seventh guard's eye was gauged out when the shadow pounced on them and thrust the dagger into their face.

The eighth guard's throat was slit from behind, splattering blood across the ninth's face right before the ninth was sent crashing down to the floor with a black and gold Nike sneaker jammed through her front teeth, slamming her skull against the floor and crushing it on impact.

The tenth was kicked in the chest so hard his lungs were crushed and his broken ribs pierced his heart.

The eleventh gasped for air as a dagger was driven into their stomach and raked up their chest through their sternum, all while they gasped and wheezed for air. Ending with the dagger exiting at their throat, the eleventh security guard fell backwards onto the ground.

The twelfth guard stared into the golden-yellow eyes of the mask as she coughed up blood in return of the katar dagger that was thrusted through her stomach, exiting through her back and barely missing her spine.

The thirteenth guard had two katar daggers peirce his temples simultaneously, dragging his face down to connect with a hard knee before both daggers sliced through the flesh to meet in the middle and were pulled out again.

The fourteenth guard crashed to the ground as a weight landed on top of him. He was stabbed in the chest over and over again until his torso was just a bloody expanse of stab wounds.

The last image the fifteenth guard saw before her life was snuffed out like her comrades was a masked, hooded figure moving down the aisle towards her. The dissipating smoke allowed her to see the bodies that littered the floor at his feet, and the blood of her late comrades that painted his pale scarred arms and mask, along with the walls and the razor-sharp katar daggers held in his grip.

The last image she saw, as she stood there frozen in fear, was of the golden-yellow eyes staring into her soul before death claimed her in the form of a katar dagger slicing her head clean off her shoulders.

Her head hit the floor with a loud thud right before her body came crashing down directly afterwards.

Akaashi and Kenma peeked in through the doorway, their eyes widening at the sight. Bodies were strewn across the cabin, blood splattered across the walls and pooled on the floor, and in the midst of it all was Atsumu. His mask was splattered with blood, his slender but muscular arms were washed in a gruesome red, his black combat gear was stained a dark maroon with blood, and the gold accents in his sneakers were now tinged a sunset orange.

Atsumu breathed heavily, and he quickly flicked the blood off his daggers and sheathed them simultaneously before turning to Akaashi and Kenma, "Alright, the coast is clear," he called, "Jus' mind the dead bodies an' the blood," he added casually.

Kenma and Akaashi hesitantly stepped inside, immensely grateful for Atsumu being on their side and not the other way around.

"Hold on tight, by the way," Atsumu instructed, "Things are 'bout to get bumpy."

Akaashi and Kenma did as they were told and grabbed onto the only thing that wasn't completely covered in blood, the overhead luggage storage.

Atsumu moved to the door, slinging his sniper over his shoulder and aiming carefully.

With one pull of the trigger, the connector between the car they were in and the one Atsumu woke up in broke apart, after which, with a lurch and loud screeching, the emergency breaks set in and they began to slow down drastically as the rest of the train carried on down the tracks.

Atsumu shouldered his sniper and grabbed the black and gold spray paints from his belt, leaving his tag on the wall with a lovely message saying, 'Vulpes was here too,' and in small font just below it, 'Did you really think fifteen armed guards would stop me?'.

By the time he had finished, the car had slowed to a stop and he turned to Akaashi and Kenma, "Let's get goin' before they realize this car is disconnected," he suggested and both boys nodded in return.

"Where are we going to go though?" Kenma asked as they moved towards the door.

"My hideout isn't too far from here, ya two can stay there for the time bein' while I go help Kiyoomi," Atsumu informed, "Don't worry though, we'll be right there to take ya to the big base real soon."
