Chapter 2 : not very chatty are you ?

A few days past after Xavier's discussion with the girl, i mean if you can call that a discussion.

The boy looked at the ceiling of his bedroom while laying on his bed and thinked about how he could approach her.

Hi, Y/N - no no no, Hey you- hey stranger ! no, hello how are you ? nah.. shit i'll never be able to do it

Xavier let a loud sigh just before hearing two familiar voices in the corridor. He didn't hesitate to open his door slightly as soon as he heard that angelic voice he knows oh too well. He peeked from the door and saw Y/N walking with Enid, and most importantly, she had the Nevermore outfit folded up in her hands.

Enid opened the door to her dorm, and welcomed the girl in.

- "Make yourself at home", Enid said while gently pushing the girl a bit further in her bedroom.

- "It's a very nice room, i really like what you did with the Window", she said as she looked around. She then began to unpack her things.

- " I can't believe that you were picked for this program !" Enid squealed with joy, for the second time after finding out the good news.

- "Well... i am the Sheriff's daughter, the mayor thought that it would give a good image to this whole Normies/Outcast social integration"

Enid and her talked all night after that, she explained the differents types of outcasts, who were her friends, etc.

The next day, Y/N tried on her uniform for the first time, she looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. She then followed Enid to class, and spotted the boy she talked to yesterday.

- "That's Xavier right ?" She whispered to Enid, asking her.

- " You sit with him, I promised Ajax to sit next to him." The girl nodded and smirked.

Enid quickly went to sit with her friend, leaving Y/N alone.

Xavier tried very hard not to look at her too much, but he tensed up when he heard the ruffles of her outfit getting closer.

- " Hi, we spoked yesterday remember ?, do you mind me sitting next to you ?" She asked smiling shyly.

The boy nodded at her and smiled to himself.

How can i be so lucky ? he thought to himself.

The lessons began and Y/N took a lot of notes, she basically wrote anything the teacher would say. She was new to all this but she wanted to make it work. But she did notice that her neighbour at the table was very silent.

- "Not very chatty are you ?" She laughed slightly hoping she wasn't being rude.

- "Oh hum", He scratched the back of his neck laughing a bit. "Sorry."

She looked at him,

- "I am Y/N by the way, we didn't get to meet properly yesterday."

He thought as he tried to think of something else to say to her but the bell rand, and Enid was already next to the new girl, she proceded to drag her to their next class.

Xavier watched her walking away, he did notice her peeking from behind her shoulder and sending him a warm smile.

On the other half, Enid was talking about whatever gossip she heard and it took her a few moments to notice her interlocuteur not listening at all.

- "Earth to Y/N !" She waved her hand in front of her eyes.

- "Oh !" She gasped a little, "I am so sorry i was thinking about someon- I mean something else"

- "Let me guess", She smirked, "Xavier ?"

The girl blushed a little and tried to laugh it off

- "No... I mean maybe just a little, he's kind off cute", She half whispered the last sentence.

The werewolf wiggled her eyebrows before stopping mid walk and calling Xavier other to join them.

The boy came over half running, maybe making it a bit too obvious he was waiting for this moment. He looked at Enid waiting for her to say something.

- "Xavier ! thank god, can you show Y/N where her class is ? I totally forgot Ms.Wheems asked me to her office this morning", She asked the boy, she did not wait for an answer because she ran away quickly.

The girl on the other half smilled cutely and started playing with her fingers.

Is she nervous ? Xavier asked himself.

- "hum.." She looked up at the boy, noticing how tall he was. "Sorry about that.."

- " No, actually it's really no big deal" He smiled to her and proceded to lead her to her class. He asked her if he could check on her planning, and he draw a little smiley whenever they had a class together.

- "There" He smiled, content with himself but mostly because of how many classes they had together. " A smiley means that i am in your class, so if you need any help, you can ask me." Xavier smiled, handing her the sheet back.

- "Thank you so much Xavier" She smiled while taking it, and their fingers brushed slightly.

His heart pounded so loudly that he was scared she would hear it. He could of swearded that he saw her cheeks blush slightly.

He coughed slightly and mentioned the door.

- " You're here" He smiled and walked away.
