After spending two hours in class listening about different Outcast authors, the girl was now looking for her last class of the day, well it wasn't exactly a class more of a club. She was rather excited about it for mainly two reasons: first, she was very excited to learn about Archery and second, she noticed the little smiley on her planning sheet. She was relieved to see that she knew someone in the club. Because being new, and more importantly being one of the 5 normies that were sent to Nevermore for the Social integration program, made her feel a little bit lonely. Of course, she was thankful that Enid, and her friends were very welcoming, she just couldn't help but feel a little out of place.
She had reached the field outside and spotted the targets.
This must be the place, the Archery club. The girl thought.
She was a little suprised when she noticed only one boy, and that was Xavier.
- "Am i too early ?" She questionned him, making him jump a little.
- " Oh no no no- Hum... there actually only one member" He scratched the back of his head. "Me"
- "Well, two now" She smiled.
Xavier smiled and proceded to explain how it works, how to aim, and he tried to flex by shooting an arrow but he missed his target, completely. Which made the girl laugh.
- "That was.... impressive Xavier" She continued laughing.
- "Oh yeah? You try" He handed her the bow and a arrow.
The girl gladly took it and position herself like he explained it. She aimed and she nearly got it to the center. It wasn't too far away from the center.
- " Beginners luck" The boy scoffed, then laughed. " The club reunites 3 times a week, well is supposed to, but Ms.Weems let's me just train whenever i want to because i was the only one here. But we can plan some days out if you prefer"
- " Well.. i do not want to impose myself, maybe we could just come here together whenever we feel like it ? Here, take my phone number, text me whenever you want to" She handed him her number while blushing slightly.
The boy gladly took it and smiled.
- "Thanks Y/N" He put his phone back into his pocket. " So, you are a normie right ? why are you here ?" He asked while sitting down on the grass.
- " So, there this new program the mayor and Ms.Weems, are trying to test out" The girl explained while sitting down next to him . "The Normies and Outcast Social Integration, 5 Normies come to Nevermore, they see how it works out and if it works out nicely, then 5 outcasts go to my old School."
Xavier nodded, "How do you feel about being here?"
- "I am honored, I am... but.. I don't feel like i fit in actually" She looked at him "But i do like it here" She smiled.
- " Y/N !" Enid came rushing to her and grabbing her hands. "There you are ! I was looking everywhere for you!" She said.
- " Hi Enid" She smiled, and stood up.
- " Are you still up for our manucure and drama night ?"
Y/N nodded smiling and then waved to Xavier while walking away, " See you tomorrow Xav!"
See you tomorrow.. Xav, He smiled at the nickname.
The two girls entered their dorm and put on their pj's.
- "So...?" Enid said while sitting down,
"How was today ?" She let Y/N pick herself a color for her nails.
- " Exhausting" She said while pointing to a very dark blue nail polish, "There's so much to remember and to learn"
- " And how was the club?" She wiggled her eyebrows while painting Y/N nails.
The girl blushed a little, "I like Archery.."
- "I don't think Archery is the only thing you like in the club" Enid laughed.
The other girl grew redder, "i mean.. he is really cute, and he is so funny, and kind.."
- " Just so you know, he is single now but he used to date Bianca, i heard that it was because she used her siren song to make him love her or something like that " She explained while painting her second hand.
Y/N thought about it, "I feel bad for him"
Enid approuved with a slight head mouvement, "Done !"
Y/N looked at her nails and smiled, she loved the color and Enid did a great job painting her nails.
The two girls continued gossiping about boys, about Bianca, and pretty much anything that they had in mind.
