Chapter 8: Are we a thing ?

A few weeks had passed after the kiss, the two were taking it slow, they didn't kiss much maybe two or three times and they didn't label themselves. They went on several dates tho.

It was now, thanksgiving season, and that made Y/N really excited. She loved cooking with her dad and tyler, baking a pumpking pie and then eating all together as a loving family. She liked saying that she was thankful for thanksgiving's day.

She was now in Xavier's room, explaining to him about why she loved this holiday. She noticed that he smiled a little sad, he never really celebrated thanksgiving because of his father being so absent.

- " I've got an idea ! come celebrate thanksgiving with me, in my house" She said crossing her fingers he would agree.

The boy looked at her with wide eyes, "and officialy meet your dad?" He thought about it and nodded, "I would love to Y/N" He smiled and kissed her lovingly, "thank you, it means the world to me" And it really did mean the world to him, she was taking their relationship to the next level and he would be with his family for thanksgivings, with her.

- "You are so going to love it !" She was excited and started jumping everywhere.

The two lovebirds were now waiting at Nevermore's gate with their bags. Y/N was hoping that her dad would let him sleep over for the whole weekend. Even if it means sleeping in the guest room, next to Tyler's room.

The Sheriff's car had parked in front of the gate, and he got out of his car.

-" Y/N honey!" He said smiling as his daughter run up to hug him, he then looked at the anxious boy near the gate, "and that's your boyfriend  ?"

- "Dad!" She hit his arm while turning red.

- "Hello sir, my name is Xavier " Xavier shook the sheriff's hand. "it's a pleasure to meet you"

The man nodded, "She can't stop talking about you, i hope you are as great as she says you are"

Xavier smiled at Y/N, and everyone climbed into the car, Y/N sitting up front with her dad.

- "I have to warn you Y/N, Tyler isn't very pleased but he did promise to stay polite. You should talk to him while you're home" Her dad said, Y/N nodded.

They didn't talk much during the ride. They arrived in front of Y/N's house, "I missed home!" She exclamed while waiting for Xavier to grab his bag.

They headed home and she immediatly took Xavier to her room, "Tada ! what do you think?" She asked, extremely proud of her room.

-" It's very.. you" he laughed, "i love it" he added, looking around.

Y/N searched her bag, and took out a printed photo of her and Xavier, she took a thumbtack and put it on her wall, next to her bed, "now my room is perfect" She smiled content.

He hugged her from behind and smiled, "It is"

They both turned around when they heard a cough, Tyler was leaning on the door frame.

Xavier let go of her and went to shake his hand.

- " Ty " She smiled and hugged her brother, whispering a "be nice please"

- "So, you two are a thing?" Tyler asked while raising an eyebrow.

The two teenagers looked at each other and Y/N nodded slightly smiling.

Tyler nodded as well, he was not pleased at all but he didn't want to say anything, he knew that if he fucked up thanksgiving's day with some drama she would never forgive him. He decided to leave them in the room and he went back to his.

Y/N took a deep breath, " I guess it went well"

Xavier was smirking and he placed his hands on Y/N's hips, "are we a thing ?"

- " I want to be your girlfriend Xav" She admitted while looking at him.

- "Me too" He smiled and kissed her deeply.
