Chapter 8-Herrscher of thunder

The day the test results of the A-Rang exam would be announced came faster than Satomi expected. Students where already gathering around the black bord where the points of everyone where announced.

Satomi pushed the students infront of her aside so she could see the black board. Then finaly, she was able to see the results. Only one name was at the top and it was no one else name than...

"Satomi, first place is realy impressive." A voice said behind her. Satomi turned around and saw Martha.

"Miss von Radetz!" Satomi said and gained the attention of the students around her.

"Let's go somewhere more private.'' Martha said.
"Of course!" Satomi said and the duo walked out of the building.

The sun was beautiful today.

"Are you still joining us?" Martha asked.

"Say no." Ombré said.

"Yes." Satomi said. Ombré fell to her knees and hammered her head on the ground.

Martha smiled.
"Wonderfull. Everything is already done. We will leave when you are ready. Now go and pack your stuff." She said.

"I hope I won't regret a thing." Satomi thought.
"You will regret it so hard! That woman litteraly scares the shit out of me!" Ombré said and seemed very stressed.

And this was how Satomi Geto became a member of the fourth special unit of Schicksal. Not long after she arrived at their headquater, Martha von Radetz was announced as the captain of the fourth unit.

Fife months after she joined the fourth special unit, Satomi became a S-Rank Valkyrie. In the following time, she defeated over 10 emperor class Honkai beasts in the matter of seconds and took out numerous illegal organisations and was the leader of two rescue missions. From time to time, she took care of smaller Honkai outbreaks. Most people refered to her as the strongest Valkyrie of Schicksal.

The higher ups of the organisation fear the womans strengh.

(Set after Himeko defeated the Herrscher of thunder in Nagazora)

Martha was sitting at her desk when she got a message from someone inside Schicksal HQ.
The woman didn't look amused, they had so much work to do and the fact that a Herrscher had appeared only ment bad things.

To make it even worse, she knew the higher ups where disgussing on what to do with the Herrscher host. The worst case, and the most persumable, would be her execution.

The door was suddenly opened.
"I'm back." Satomi said. She was now eighteen years old and puperty definetly left it's marks on her.

She was now 6'2 feet tall. Her hair was styled in a wolfes cut. She was wearing a white shirt, a black coat and black pants along with a pair of sneakers.

"Good to have you back. Did you hear about the third Herrscher?" Martha asked.

"I won't let a child go down under the mercy of Otto." Satomi said. She already knew the trouble around a girl named Raiden Mei.
Martha didn't say anything. Instead, she gave her vice-captain her phone to read the message she got not long ago.

"The principal wants her in St. Freya?"
Satomi asked as she was done reading the message.
"Yes but some important voices don't agree." Martha said.
"I'll change that." Satomi said.
"And If they still want her dead?" Martha asked.
"No matter what happends, I side with the kid." Satomi said.
"Then I will support her too." Martha said. Satomi didn't say anything and just left.

Martha chuckled. In the two years that had passed since the dissapearing of Elham, Satomi never dissapointed Martha once.

"Have fun, Satomi. It will be your last chance." Martha said a bit sadistic.
Her plans are working out perfectly.

(Two days later, St. Freya dorm of Himeko, Theresa, Bronya, Kiana and Mei)

Kiana, Bronya and Mei where sitting togheter on the couch.
Kiana and Bronya had an intense videogame match, which Kiana was loosing. Bronya made on final move and defeated Kiana.
"Damn it Bratnya!" Kiana said and threw the controller against the wall.
"The Bronya wishes to get her belongings back in one piece." Bronya said calm but angry.

"Kiana, don't throw Bronya-chan's things around.'' Mei said.
Kiana threw her head on the dark haired womans lab.
"Only if Mei-Senpai sleeps with me tonight!" Kiana said.
Mei just rolled her eyes.
Theresa and Himeko looked from the kitchen over to them.
"When is she coming?" Himeko asked and took a sip of her beer.
"Satomi should be here any minute. Hard to belive that such a sweet and carring girl became so strong." Theresa said.
"She had good teachers after all." Himeko said.
"We haven't told Mei jet." Theresa said and made both of the grown ups uncomfortable.

"You didn't told me what?" Mei asked. After she got Kiana away from her lab, she went to the kitchen to grab something to drink.
"Uh..you know well, since you are a Herrscher, some people where against letting you in St. Freya but we found an agreement." Theresa said.
"They where forced." Himeko whispered and got a deathstare from Theresa.
"Forced? What do you mean?" Mei asked.

Someone knocked at the door.
"I'll open it." Theresa said.

She did wonder if Satomi changed.
Was she taller now? Did she look more mature? Was she okay?

Theresa opened the door.
"Hello Satomi...wha-?" Theresa said as she saw her former student.
When Satomi left, both wheren't realy tall but now, Satomi was 6'2 feet tall.

"Long time no see." Satomi said. Ombré had been quiet for a few days now. Satomi assumed her shadow was just not intrested in a conversation.

"Come in." Theresa said still shocked about Satomi's high. Bronya and Kiana didn't even notice that they had a visitor, an intense videogame had them in it's claws.

The first thing Satomi noticed was the smell of trash, as if someone just emptyed out an old trashcan. Then, Satomi spotted Mei Raiden and Himeko.

"How did you got so tall?" Himeko asked suprised and took another sip of her beer.
"Hello to you too, Himeko." Satomi said with a smile.

Kiana and Bronya came into the kitchen after they heared the strangers voice.

"Who are you?" Kiana asked. Bronya just looked up to the unfamiliar face.

"I am Satomi Geto, nice to meet you kids. I'll live with you from now on and have an eye on our Herrscher friend." Satomi said.

The kids looked a bit suprised.
Satomi smiled nice.
"Don't worry, I mean no harm. I'm mostly going to sit around and be sure the Herrscher doesn't come out. And if she does, I'll beat her up until she crawls back." Satomi said.

"But why do I have the bomb beside my heart if she is here?" Mei asked and Kiana nodded.

"It's like a two line defense. The first line, which is the bomb, will scare the Herrscher. In case she comes out and won't return your body, I'm here as the second line." Satomi said.

It still didn't make a lot of sence to the kids and they where sure that Satomi didn't tell them everything.

"Satomi, what do you mean with 'sitting around'"? Theresa asked.
"Obviously what I said." Satomi said.
"Oh no no. You will have a lot of freetime so you can be a supstitute teacher." Theresa said with a smile.

"Do I get paid?" Satomi asked. She knew she should have read the details about this mission.

"Teaching the students is part of your mission so no extra cash." Theresa said.

"Poooor Satomi." Himeko said, already a bit drunk.

"Deserved." Ombré said in Satomi's head.
"You where so quiet today but now you decite to talk." Satomi said.
"I am pissed to be here again. It smells like sweat." Ombré said.
"We can't tell Mei that a bunch of higher ups want her dead. She is just 17." Satomi told Ombré.
"I'm more worried about you. The last year was hard." Ombré said with a carring voice.
"I'll be fine." Satomi told her.
"Will you?" Ombré asked.
