Alexander Vollerei, member of the world serpent, killer, and father of Seele Vollerei was searching for christmas presents he would send to the orphanage. That popular time at the end of the year was just two days away.

It wasn't like he didn't want to see his daughter but he just was too afraid to actually go in there and give the children presents. Sending them anonymous was far more easyer.

Well, sending presents also ment to find something fitting. Giving them water pistols was probaly not a good idea during Siberian winter.
A few boardgames and sportsgear should do it instead. This was a good idea. Children probaly love such things.

In the end, he bought five footballs, two basketballs, three chessboards, two sets of a popular german game, and a few card games.

The last thing Alexander needed to do was to get all the things into a big packet and then just send them away per mail.

"Are you kidding me?!" Alexander asked angry.
"I'm sorry sir but the streets to the orphanage are all blocked so they won't arrive on time." The man infront of him said.
Alexander got out of there and returned to his apartment. Blocked streets, are they serious?! Christmas presents not arriving on time! He could have bought them earlyer but it was a miracle the world serpent gave him holidays after all.

"These presents will arrive on time, even if it costs me my legs!" Alexander said to himself. Next thing he knew was him grabbing his coat and the presents to deliver them by himself.

He walked the streets down and remembered something important.

"There is a chance that I see Seele. I need a special present just for her!" The man thought and an idea crossed his mind.
His wive loved books and maybe Seele does too! He walked into the nearest bookstore and searched for a book with an intresting title.

A blue book basically jumped into his gaze. It had a beautiful blue cover.

"Daughter of the sea. Sounds intresting." Alexander said to himself and bought the book. Maybe Seele can already read.

"Would you like me to wrap the book in wrapping paper?" The cashier asked.
"Yes please." Alexander answeared. He wasn't good with wrapping presents.

The way up to the orphanage was nothing Alexander couldn't handle. He was tough and the cold winter air and the thick layer of snow wouldn't stop him from reaching his goal.

After something that seemed like an eternety, he finaly reached the orphanage, the place where his daughter lives.

"Okay you can do this. Lay it infront of the door and leafe." Alexander said to himself and walked to the door. The man hid the book he bought for his daughter in his jacket to gave it to herself. He slowly layed the packet down but to his suprise he heared noises on the other side of the door and it was suddenly opened by a girl with pink hair.

Both akwardly looked at each other for a moment.
"Matushka! Stranger at the door!" The little girl shouted and ran inside. Alexander just stood still and tryed to not look suspicious.

A blond woman came down the stairs as she heared the pink haired girl.

"Hello sir, how can I help you?" The blond woman asked.

"Someone donated a bunch of presents for the orphanage. I am here to deliver them." Alexander made that up of course.

The blond woman came to the door and stood directly infront of Alexander.

"Come in, you must be freezing. I thought the streets where blocked." Cocolia said and let Alexander step in.

"I walked. Getting presents after christmas is stupid." Alexander said.

Cocolia smiled a bit.
"That is very nice of you but you can't walk back. It is too late and it is supposed to snow tonight." Cocolia said.

"It isn't a problem, I'm tougher than I appear." Alexander said. He didn't want to stay too long in the orphanage of his daughter.

"I wasn't asking. I can't risk you freezing to death." Cocolia said.

And this is how Alexander Vollerei ended up sitting on the floor beside the christmas tree, reading the kids a story.

"And this is how the princess broke the curse. End of story." Alexander said and attempted to stand up but the kids tryed to keep him down.

"We want another story!" One with purple hair demanded. The others called him Sin Mal.
"Fine but just one more." Alexander said and a girl with light blue hair gave him another book.

After an eternety the kids fell asleep and Cocolia carried them to their rooms. She closed the door of the child's room that Alexander saw when she opened the door.

"Sorry for the kids, they can be very stubborn." Cocolia said.

"It's okay." Alexander simply said.

The wooden floor cracked behind the duo. They turned their heads and saw a very young girl around the age of four walking towards them. She had puffy eyes, black hair with blue shades, dark blue eyes that where just like the sea, and a round face.

Alexander instantly knew it. The way she looked like was telling him. She looked just like his beloved wife.

"Seele, what are you doing here. You're supposed to sleep by now." Cocolia said with a tipical mothers voice. So her name didn't change after all.

"I didn't see her the whole day. Is she okay?" Alexander asked. Cocolia walked up to Seele and picked her up in her arms.

"She has a cold. That happends when you play in the snow without a jacket." Cocolia said.

"I had a nightmare." Seele said and cuddled more into Cocolia's arms.

"Sorry kid." Alexander simply said and finaly gained the attention of Seele.
Her blue eyes met his green eyes. God she even had her mothers eyes.
"Arm." Seele said sleepy.
"Huh?" Alexander asked confused.

"She wants you to take her in your arms and hold her. She must realy like you, normaly she is just shy and hides somewhere." Cocolia said.
Alexander's mind was on some kind of autopilot. He didn't give any thoughts into his movements or words.

"Can't realy denie it." The man simply said. Cocolia smiled and gave Seele careful to Alexander.
"You had a nightmare? Wanna talk about it?" Alexander asked his child.

"Papa left and never came back." Seele simply said and cuddled against Alexander's chest. If Cocolia wasn't there, Alexander would have bursted into tears.
"I'm sorry. Don't worry it was just a dream." Alexander simply said and noticed that Seele was already asleep.
"Let's bring her back into her room." Cocolia whispered. Alexander nodded and both did bring the young child in her room, back in her warm bed.
"You did so much already. I don't know how to thank you." Cocolia said.
"I did it with honor. I'll go to bed now." Alexander said and walked back to his bedroom.

Seele woke up the next morning, feeling much better. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. That was when a present on her nightstand caught her attention. She carefully grabbed it and packet it out. The blue book with the nice title realy looked beautiful to her.
The door opened and Rozaliya, Liliya and Sin Mal ran inside.
"Seele, how are you feeling?" Rozaliya asked loudly.
"Hey, whats that in your hand?" Sin Mal asked curious and the trio crawled into Seele's bed.
"Santa gave me a book for christmas!" Seele said very happy.
In reality, Alexander layed the present down on Seele's nightstand after he layed her down in her bed. Cocolia didn't saw how he layed it down, it would have looked a bit suspicious.

This was the first and last christmas they would ever spend together.
