The blond girl was wiping a table from the dust that has formed over it for the past few days.
The faint sound of television playing in background filling her ears. It was, of course, about the death of the prince of Alstoria, the heir to the throne. The sound of senators arguing about who should be the one to lead one of the most powerful planets made Eloise irritated.
"The planet cannot wait for a little girl to realize the gravity of this situation, a new heir should be-" That is when the young witch decided she had enough torture for the day and turned the television off.
She takes a seat on a chair and puts her face in her hands, sighing loudly.
Eloise took extra shifts to help around the bar, stating that she just wanted to help Paolo in this tough time. But in reality she just wanted to get her mind of the events that happened a few weeks ago.
The princess knew it was starting to become unhealthy but she couldn't help it, not when the entire galaxy was talking about this sudden tragic event.
She became to be even more jumpy and snappy lately than she usually was, and her sudden change in her character was clearly visible to Paolo.
When she lifted her face from the hands, she quickly glares at the window to see if any customers are coming in, but she didn't see any of the regular customers.
She saw a figure with curly dark hair.
It didn't take the girl more than a second to get Déjà vu from the night she saw those curls again. That night she thought because of the grief she was seeing things that her mind may have projected to ease the grief she was going through.
But this wasn't the case.
She, once again, ran towards the door and yet when she took a better look where the figure was standing, Eloise was met with nothing.
Again.
Eloise pouts at her lost against the shadow figure, unbothered to look around for it, she knew she wouldn't find it just like that night.
She goes back in when Paolo comes downstairs to check if everything was in place like it should be.
He was impressed of how neat the bar looked, but the goblin couldn't not notice the slight shaken in Eloise's expression. She always kept it pulled together and neat but not one particle of dust was in sight.
The girl stared at a spot on the wall while she was debating in her mind if she was imaging this mysterious figure, maybe it was a way to cope with the grief.
"Alright, are you?" Paolo wondered and Eloise ripped her green eyes from the wall to meet his big eyes.
"I am just a little confused, Paolo. Nothing you should be worrying about." She assures Paolo with a smile on her lips. He didn't wish to pressure her anymore so he just nodded and continued his business.
"Ah shit! Paolo I have to go and run to the store, I don't have enough ingredients to make dinner." The young girl yells in hopes that Paolo heard her while she was putting on her coat.
She made sure the bar was locked before heading down into town. Eloise waved some people on the streets that she knew from the bar.
After Eloise made sure she bought everything she needed to prepare dinner she headed back to her home.
A pair of arms pulled her back and Eloise immediately responded by trying to punch her attacker, only for them to dodge it. They caught her arm and Eloise felt something cold wrapped around her wrist.
