Malcolm and Spencer had been working on a way to rescue everyone from the Collectors prison where he kept his "playmate". Malcolm concluded that the only way to get everyone out was to make a distraction the Collector would definitely fall for. As for what it would be, they were still workshopping it. Barry thought they could show everyone their powers through a training session.

Barry: Hey Luz I was thinking we should train.

Luz: Why? I already got us here.

Barry: Yeah but maybe we should get used to using these glyphs while using are powers at the same time.

Luz: Well I'm already good with glyphs, why would I need to train with my powers?

Barry: Luz I don't think you grasp the full potential of your power. You could travel back in time billions of years with the snap of your fingers, you could bring giant objects or creatures here with a thought, if you just learn more you could do thing you couldn't imagine.

Luz: You had me at "travel back in time with the snap of your fingers".

Barry: So you're willing to train?

Luz: Yes, if you drag Malcolm, my mom, and Vee into this as well.

Barry: I was going to.

Luz: Perfect.

Barry went to talk with Malcolm, then with Camila and Vee. He then told everyone that they were going to train with their powers and glyphs. This excited everyone because they had not yet seen their powers in action. Everyone sat in a make shift seating while they watch them begin. 

Barry: Alright so, I was thinking I would show everyone my favorite trick. I want all of you to come running at me.

Malcolm: What?! Are you crazy?!

Barry: Just do it. 

Malcolm conjured and energy tentacle from his back, Vee charged up he strength, Luz clustered a bunch of temporal particles around her hands, and Camila ran readied herself to run at Barry. The all charge towards Barry with everything they had. Barry was charging up his body before they attacked. He releases the lightning he stored and it hit the four of them. They all go to the ground in moments.

Barry: I charged up my cells to generate lightning and release it around me. It's a very useful trick I've learned. The reason why I wanted to show you that was to show you how powerful you can become. If I could do something like that imagine what you could do.

Malcolm: Well, you did just hand us are butts on a silver plater, so I see your point.

Luz: I wonder what I could do.

Malcolm: I can think of some, but I'll tell you later. In the mean time lets try using glyphs with are powers.

Barry: Okay we'll do a one on one match. Who ever falls down on their stomach or back loses. Now who's going first.

Luz and Malcolm: Me!

Barry: Okay you two are first Vee and Camila you're next.

Luz and Malcolm ready themself's and begin. Luz sets down a plant glyph and ties up Malcolm, but Malcolm burns the vine he's trapped in and frees himself, Luz plants down a bunch of ice glyphs and traps Malcolm, Malcolm teleports out of the ice and slaps Luz with a light glyph blinding her, Luz snaps her fingers and fixes her eyesight, Malcolm plants down an ice glyph and a plant glyph and aims it at Luz, Luz snaps her fingers and makes the attack disappear. Everyone is surprised by Luz's power and cheer for both of them. Malcolm conjures two energy tentacles and starts placing glyphs down. Luz snaps her fingers and stops Malcolm in his tracks, Luz notices that Malcolms Energy tentacles were touching glyphs and suddenly. *Boom* Luz is knocked down from the set of glyphs Malcolm had set down.
