After everyone had gotten ready, they walked outside. Malcolm, Luz, Vee, and Camila were wearing the clothes that they had been wearing for crime fighting, and the witches were wearing armored vests.
Malcolm: Okay once I snap my fingers, we'll be outside there base, if anyone wants to back out, nows the moment.
Everyone stayed.
Malcolm: Glad to see we're all going. Okay here we go.
Malcolm snaps his fingers and they're consumed by magenta lightning. Once they open their eyes, they see that they are outside a clock tower. They look around to see that no one was around, not even citizens.
Luz: I thought we were heading to their base?
Malcolm: We are, its just hidden from our sight. Try to find a puzzle or a hidden door.
Everyone walks apart. Luz, Amity and Camila look around while, Malcolm and Kiki do the same. Barry, Hunter, Gus, and Willow do so as well, while Chester is checking his tablet to look for something while Vee, Eberwolf, King and Eda wait. Malcolm decided to pass some time by talking to Kiki.
Malcolm: Hey Kiki.
Kikimora: Yeah?
Malcolm: When do you think we should make a couple name?
Kikimora: Couple name?
Malcolm: Yeah. I mean a lot of couple do that, what do you think ours should be?
Kikimora: Kalcolm?
Malcolm: No I don't like it. Mikimora?
Kikimora: I used a name similar to that once and it brings back bad memories.
The two of them think for a moment. Then they both think of a name that sounds good to them.
Malcolm and Kikimora: Malimora.
They both did a thumbs ups and laugh. Malcolm then notices that the door to the clock tower had a pamphlet with an Owl symbol on it.
Malcolm: Whats this?
He walks over to the pamphlet and picks it up.
Malcolm: Guys come see this.
Everyone walks over. Malcolm was holding a rebus.
Amity: Thats a rebus.
Malcolm: A what?
Willow: A rebus, a puzzle that uses pictures to form words.
Barry: Well what does it say?
Gus: Give it here.
Malcolm hands Gus the rebus. The pictures show were of a court room, the word " by", a parliament of Owls the words"you will", and a bumble bee.
Gus: Okay this should be easy. But the first one makes now sense.
Malcolm: Let me see that.
Gus hands Malcolm the Rebus.
Malcolm: Okay so the this is court room, and that could me trial or tried. So its ether of those.
Amity: Can I see that?
Malcolm: Sure.
Amity looks at it and sees what he's talking about.
Amity: Okay so then the next picture is easy, it definitely "Owls".
Willow looks over Amity's shoulder.
Willow: Okay so that last one must be "Be". "Trial by Owls you will be".
