The Witches day in central city

After the meeting was over Luz went to find her palisman. The snake had ben sleeping in Luz's things since they got back. She still hadn't used her palisman yet, but was soon going to. She walks to her bed and sees her snake, she realizes she hadn't given him a name yet. 

Luz: What am I going to call you?

The snakeshifter hisses at her and she is surprised by this action. She picks him up and scolds him.

Luz: Hey! That wasn't nice.

The palisman gives a sad face.

Luz: Ohh. I can't stay mad at you.

The palisman wraps itself up and hardens into statue form. Luz puts him in him pocket and walks back to the group.

Luz: Hey Eda, could you help me train with my palisman?

Eda: Sure kid, but I'm not going easy on you.

Luz: Like I'll need it.

The two of them head outside to train. Eda and Luz stand across from each other, Eda turns into her harpy form and Luz's eyes turn green, and her palismans eyes turn green, and Luz's head is resinating with a green glow. Eda attacks Luz but she goes right through her. Eda surprised tries to put her hand on Luz's shoulder, but it goes right through.

Eda: Um, Luz how are you doing that?

Luz: Like it? I can make myself untouchable by focusing.

Eda: Oh I was going to ask how you're glowing green.

Luz: Wait what?

Eda: Yeah and your palisman is also glowing green.

Luz looks at her palisman and sees that holding her staff was doing something to her powers. She deactivates her staff and puts it back in her pocket. 

Luz: Okay, until I understand what happened, no training for now.

Eda: Dang it. I was hoping to see what you could do.

Luz: Sorry but I need to check in with Chester about this.

Eda: Fine, but once he gives you the clear, we fight, got it?

Luz: Got it.

Luz and Eda go to look for Chester to tell him what they found out. 

(CC Jitters pov)

The rest of the Hexide squad, a bunch of the witches, and the Beta Hexide squad had gone out that day to explore the city a little while wearing the concealment stones and light masks from the transmogrifier. The rest of the witches and demons stayed behind at the hall, to try to make a better set up for sleeping. Amity, Willow, Gus, Hunter, and Vee went to CC Jitters because Luz recommended it. They all ordered an XS coffee to keep things simple. Joe West had volunteered to take the Hexide squad to CC Jitters. They were all sitting at a corner table in the shop.

Joe: So, I have to ask, what exactly happened in this Demon realm?

Amity: It was kind of a war really, we're just glad to be here, and we're thankful for Barry's help.

Joe: Yep, he's always had that impression.

Willow: Emm, wow when Luz said this place was good she wasn't kidding.

Vee: Yeah if you think that was good, you should try the frost shake.

Willow: I will keep that in mind.

Hunter: Hey um Joe was it, could you tell us about some of the stuff that happens here, I want to take notes and compare to the Boiling Isles.

Joe: Sure, um, what exactly do you want to know?
