Drained

Today started the same way it always started in the boiling Isles. Malcolm woke up from his sleep sweating like normal. He had been sleeping on a grey mattress on the ground of the inside of the Titans Knee. It was obvious that the place used to be smaller because of how smooth the walls were. Malcolm turned to his side to find Kikimora sleeping next to him. He remembered last night and he blushed at what he remembered. He was confused as he had never Blushed before. He got up and started walking to the food storage, it was just a box that was kept cool with ice glyphs but it work. He pulled out some griffin eggs and a frying pan and drew a fire glyph. He got ready to cook the only thing he was able to eat here. He activated the glyph and put the pan over it, he waited for the pan to get hot so he could cook the eggs. He pours the oil that Eda used when she made his breakfast, he still didn't know what it was called but he was fine with eating it either way. 

Kikimora had woken up from her sleep to find Malcolm was not there. She was still wearing the shirt that said"hex my life She gets up from the grey mattress and walks to where they stored the food. The place was shaped to look like a house, the floor was deeper, they made a fire pit, there was a hole in the roof to let the smoke out, the place looked like a fancy house made of stone.  She walks past the number of people sleeping on the floor due to running out of mattress'. She found Malcolm cracking some eggs into a frying and pan. 

Kikimora: Can you make me some as well?

Malcolm: Oh hey. First ask nicely.

Kikimora: *breaths* Can you please make me some as well?

Malcolm: Thats more like it and sure.

Malcolm Cracks two more eggs and watches them sizzle and turn from a clear goop to a solid white. Once finished scooped up the eggs and set them on plates for the two of them.

Malcolm: So, last night you told me you were happier now that you aren't working for anyone. Why is that?

Kikimora: Do I have to tell you?

Malcolm: If you want to, I'm just asking as a follow up to our conversation last night.

Kikimora: *breaths out* Okay, well back when I was in the emperors coven, I was in a decline in my work status. I failed so so many missions that I was demoted to deliver transport. 

Kiki started to tear up as she was talking. Knowing what had also happened because of her failure. 

Kikimora(weeping): The I was banned from going to my family home because I missed my family reunion!

She started full on crying, waking people up. Malcolm pulled Kiki outside and far from the people who slept outside, to let her cry without waking too many people up. She had been burned out from working so much and not being appreciate for everything she did. She weeped for about 5 minutes until she stopped. Malcolm put his hand on top f Kiki's head to find that what he thought was a weird hairdo was actually a set of hands. He touches the hands not believing his eyes. 

Malcolm: Woah, are these hands?

Kikimora: Yeah. What never scene anyone with hands on their head?

Malcolm: No. The closest thing the human realm could have to that are white Martians.

Kikimora: Huh?

Malcolm: A type of Alien. Long story, but I'll tell you if you want.

Kikimora: Sure.

Malcolm told Kiki about everything that made the human realm so amazing, he told her about Arrow which made her want to hear more of what he had to say.He then told her about the  particle accelerator and meta's it created which interested, supergirl and all the aliens which dazzled her with the thought of super strong creates from the stars, then he told her about crisis which shocked her, she asked more questions as to what was happening in the human realm more recently. He told her about how Luz and him got their powers and about the court of Owls and their meta serum program. She was as ecstatic as Gus about the human Realm. What Malcolm said next made Kiki fall over.
