A/N: I know this is short but that's because it's the first chapter of my new book! 20 reads for me to continue and three votes? Love you guys!
Blaire's POV
I listen closely as the man stormed out demanding a refund.

"You saw our sign. No refunds." My boss said to the greedy twenty two year old.

"That's before I knew she was lifeless!" The man said raising his voice.

"It wasn't satisfactory?" My boss, Mark asked.

"Clearly not if I want my money back!"

"Well I will be sure to talk with her. May I ask what was wrong?" I don't know how Mark keeps such a calm tone in this business when all I want to do is scream.

"She wasn't into it. No eye contact and no passion!" The man rambled.

"Well she technically isn't being paid for passion. As for the eye contact I will talk with her about that."

"She wasn't worth the money I dropped." The man complained.

I kept my eyes on the black walls of the private room I was in. This wasn't how I planned on living my life. I hated it but mostly, I hated myself.

"Well I suppose if you don't tell anyone about a bad experience here I could get you a different girl?" Mark offered.

"Fine. I'll keep my mouth shut if I like this one." He said right before I could hear the clicking of the girls heels walking to the room next to the one I was in.

"Blair, come out here please." Mark called.

I put my heels back on and walked out to the main room, stopping momentarily as the guy gave me a dirty look.

"Yes sir?" I asked with no emotion.

"That. Right there." He said pointing at me.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I lied. It's not the first complaint I've had.

"The emotion in you is gone. You're being paid for this. I've already told you more then three times, if they want eye contact then you give them eye contact." He said the same old thing.
Literally it's the same old stuff but a different day.

"Okay." I dryly replied.

Mark sighed as he looked at me. "Why don't you take a day or two off." He suggested.

"No. I need the money." I said shaking my head.

"No, you need to rest. Honestly you haven't had a day off for a few months. Sunday isn't enough for you. I'll give you a paid vacation." He said.

"What? Seriously?" I asked. Mark had never once given anyone a paid vacation so you can imagine my surprise.

"Yes. You were once the one bringing in most of the money." He informed me.

"Lovely." I sarcastically mumbled.

"Why don't you go home now and you can come back in two days." He said.

"Thank you." I gave a dull smile before going to the back and grabbing my things.

Marks POV
That's the fifth complaint I've had about Blaire lately. I'm hoping this will help. If she can just go home and clear her head then hopefully she'll be back to normal.

"Mark?" My wife's voice broke me out of my thoughts.

"Yes, darling?" I asked standing up from my desk.

"There are a few guys here asking for you." She said.

"Okay? Did they give you a name?" I asked.

"No. Just someone important." She said and walked out.

I followed her to the group of guys. I couldn't tell who the customer was but considering the two other guys were dressed in all black and twice the size of him I would say they were his body guards, which that would suggest he's famous or at least full of money. "Hello. What can I do for you?" I asked.

"I'm actually looking for a specific girl." The Australian accent came.

"Sure. Do you know her name?" I asked him.

"No actually. I know she's got light brown hair and blue eyes." He spoke, looking around.

"Did she give you her card?" I asked. How does he know about her if he doesn't know her name? Come to think of it I've never even seen him around here.

"No. A friends told me about her." He spoke.

I tried thinking who he'd be talking about. We have a lot of girls with brown hair.

"That's her." He said pointing to a picture on the wall.

Blair

"Blair? Oh yes. You want her? Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes. Is she here?" He asked.

"No. She has a few days off." I informed him and he visibly looked disappointed. "I can get you another girl though."

"No thanks. I want her." He stated.

"Well if you want to leave your number I can call you when she's back?" I suggested.

"Can't do that. What day will she be back?" He was persistent.

"Friday." I spoke with a questioning tone.

"Great. I'll be back then. Thank you." He said before turning on his heel and walking out.

"What was that?" Kaitlin asked me.

"I have no idea." I said before wrapping my arms around her.
