Blair's POV
I sighed as I put the book down. I had been wanting to finish that stupid book for a month now only to be let down by the ending.

"Stupid." I mumbled to myself as I stood up to walk into the kitchen.

I looked at the clock to read 8:49pm and I find myself wondering where the days went.

I sighed closing the fridge. Why don't I have food in this house?

I walked over to the side table and pulled out some money and my cell phone.

Working at a gentleman's club comes with it's ups and downs. One of the downs happens to be men that consider you a piece of meat and treat you like dirt. One of the ups is the bodyguards that come with the job.

"Hey. Yeah I'm going out." I spoke to my phone.

"Now? Where?" He asked.

"I think I'm just going to walk down 25th." I said walking out the door.

"Okay." He said before I hung up.

I wrapped my jacket around myself tightly and walked out before locking my door.
It was colder outside than I thought it would be and thanks to the wind my face was numb. Thank gosh I was only three minutes away from 25th street. I walked along the streets before deciding on Dunkin' Donuts. I quickly got my stuff and walked back out only to step into rain.
I groaned as I pulled my umbrella out. I knew where my bodyguard's car was so if I could just walk back there.

I rolled my eyes as my phone started ringing.

"What?" I asked as I picked up my bodyguards call.

"Why are you walking right now? Get a cab."

"I'm coming back to your car. I'm not paying for a freaking cab." I spoke.

"Okay okay. Well you have to work tomorrow. We don't need you getting sick."

I was temporarily thrown off as four boys walked past me, one of them accidentally shoving into me.

"Hey!" I shouted at him.

"Oh lord. I'm-" The boy started saying in an Australian accent before stopping and looking me up and down.

Oh yeah, I'm sure an oversized winter coat and a nose as bright as Rudolph's is super hot. I rolled my eyes at him as my bodyguard called my name through the phone.

"I'm so sorry. That was all my fault. I suppose I should watch where I walk." He smiled.

"It's fine. I probably walked into you, being the klutz that I am." I said returning the smile.
He laughed and continued to look at me.

"Dude, let's go!" One of his friends yelled at him. He flashed me another smile before walking away.

I watched as he turned around to give me one last smile.

"Blair?"

"Uh yeah. What? Sorry." I added and continued walking.

"Who was that?" He asked.

"I don't know. He just bumped in to me and apologized." I spoke.

"You shouldn't have talked to him." He scolded.

"Yeah yeah. I'm here now." I said before hanging up and jumping into the car.

Once I got home I ate quickly and decided to get to bed. I feel like these two days went by way quicker then they should have. Also, I just really didn't want to go back to work.
