Chapter 19 - Wont Leave You

The weekend starts, and my motivation goes down.

I clocked in, slamming my bags down on the desk in the daycare, I didn't bother doing my hair, it was a complete mess, and there were still tear streaks on my face. Safe to say I didn't get much sleep last night. I took another drink of my coffee. I felt weak and I was physically shaking. As I worked on the papers, my head kept bobbing as I tried to stay awake.

I heard bells, and looked up, Sun was on the balcony. He jumped down, slowly walking towards me.

-"Sunshine?"

I gripped onto my pencil hard. I looked up at him, not even trying to smile. Suns rays shrunk in his head.

-"What, Sunrise."

He winced at me addressing him by his full name.

-"You don't look so good.. Would you like to sleep for a bit-"

-"No."

I responded sternly and flatly. He backed up a bit. Luckily the daycare was still closed for today so I didn't have to deal with children.

-"I- I'm gonna go.. Clean.."

He ran away. I sighed, pulling out a note and start writing my resignation letter.

Sun's POV

I kept looking back at Y/N, who just seemed to look worse and worse every time.

'Did we really mess them up that bad?'

-"Yes, Moon.. That plushie meant everything to them.. I feel that it meant as much to them as we mean to each other.. And imagine you losing me.. Or me losing you.."

'Oh god..'

I heard a thud. I looked over at Y/N. They had passed out. I ran over to them, then I remembered something. I dug into my pocket and pulled out a small tracking device. I slipped it onto the back of their neck, hiding it in their hair. I saw a paper on the desk set aside from the others. It was hand written. I picked it up, reading it.

It was their resignation letter. They were going to leave. I felt tears start welling in my eyes. They were going to leave.

'Sun, calm down..'

I felt a burning sensation in my head that spread to my whole body.

-"They can't leave.. They can't leave.. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙣'𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚.."

I grabbed Y/N.

Y/Ns POV

I woke up in the bed in Sun and Moons room. Great. I sat up, the room was dark, double great, Moon was out.

-"𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚."

I jumped, looking over at the voice. It was that weird Sun and Moon combination. It smiled at me creepily, and that tone on its voice reminded me of when Moon acted weird..

-"I have to leave."

-"𝙊𝙝, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩.."

I started walking towards the balcony, but I felt all four of its arms wrap around me.

-"Sunrise, Moondrop. Let go of me."

It seemed to flinch at the way I said both of their full names. It's arms tightened around me.
