Chapter 55 - Intruder

I was losing hope. It had been 5 months since Sun and Moon had been deactivated. My fear of the dark had strengthened more than ever, and I was more on edge than I had ever been before. Every small noise made me jump, especially when I was alone. Now it was even worse, since Charlie and DJ decided to have a 'guys weekend.' Him and DJ headed out the door, but before they did, Charlie pulled me aside.

-"What is it, Charlie."

-"There's something waiting for you, only go into the basement when you're ready."

I was about to ask what he meant when DJ called for him, and he left, closing the door in my face. I was all alone in the house now. I went over and sat on the couch, looking at my phone, but also glancing around every minute or so. Every noise I heard caused me to jump or shriek. I decided I should try to sleep the night away. I went upstairs to my room cautiously. I turned my nightlight on, getting in bed. I was about to fall asleep, but thats when I heard it.

-"Hello, little bunny.."

My eyes shot open, and I instantly saw the lady in the rabbit suit. I screamed, jumping up and falling to the ground. She took a step towards me, and I screamed again. I got up, running to the other side of the room. I swung my door open, then closed it from the outside. I pulled a bin in front of the door, maybe that would stall her. . . How did she find me? How did she get in without me noticing? I ran down to the kitchen, grabbing a knife. I heard a loud crash upstairs, so she had gotten the door open. I looked around, trying to think of what to do. I saw her start coming down the stairs, and I went for the closest door... It was the basement. I had run in and slammed the door so fast that I fell down the stairs, landing on my back. I layed there for a minute, dazed. I got up, and the door swung open. The rabbit lady giggled as she held up a knife. She started coming down the stairs, and I backed up. I backed into something, the table Sun was on. I had bumped the computer-- I hope I didn't screw anything up.

-"What's wrong, Y/N? Your boyfriend not here to save you anymore?"

I started crying. No, bawling, like a child who lost their parents.

-"Leave me alone!"

-"Oh, it's okay to cry, little bunny. You won't be for much longer though."

She ran at me with the knife. I closed my eyes and plunged the knife I had grabbed forward. I felt a sharp pain in my arm. She had stabbed me. But then suddenly my knife felt heavy. I opened one eye, she had been impaled in the stomach. I let go of the knife, running up the stairs and not looking back. I stood in the kitchen, trying to calm myself down, I was hyperventilating. I wish DJ or Charlie were here.. I wish 𝘚𝘶𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘰𝘰𝘯 were here. I heard a few noises, then footsteps coming up the stairs. I shrieked, how was she still moving? The lights went out in the basement, and I saw red eyes peer at me from the doorway, and I booked it out the back door. I heard the footsteps follow me outside. I picked up my pace, running as fast as I could. My arm hurt like hell, it was bleeding and the wound was wide open, dripping blood onto the grass behind me. I ran into the woods, maybe I could lose my pursuer in the trees. I wasn't too far in the forest when my foot caught a root, making me fall forward. I felt something hard hit my head when I got to the ground. My vision began to blur, I couldn't move. The last thing I saw was a dark figure dropping to their knees beside me.
